JetNation
According to multiple sources, the Jets have activated rookie defensive back Jeremy Clark who was a sixth round draft choice (197th overall) out of Michigan this year. The Jets activated rookie CB Jeremy Clark, who has been on the NFI list all season. Waived CB Robert Nelson. Also made some practice squad moves. Played WR Tre McBride on practice squad/injured list. Signed RB Jeremy Langford. #nyj — Brian Costello (@BrianCoz) December 8, 2017 It was believed that Clark could spend the entire season on the Non-football injury (NFI) list, but he’s now active and an option to get some action late in the season. A cornerback at Michigan, the 6′ 3” 220 lb Clark could challenge for playing time with Darryl Roberts and Rashard Robinson already splitting reps opposite Morris Claiborne. Some have speculated that Clark could be looked at as a part-time safety as well. In addition to adding Clark, the Jets waived CB Robert Nelson while placing recently signed wide receiver Tre McBride on the injured list and signed running back Jeremy Langford in his place. I like Macc taking a late flyer on an injured player that had success in college. People forget Curtis Martin fell all the way to the 3rd round because he got hurt at Pitt. You never know? And big CBs that can play NFL football are hard to find.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I always thought it meant, in a broad sense, "watching them perform". But I'm not up to date on all the verbiage. So, it's pretty much the same rules as Tinder, then. Or hiring a woodsmen just because he's wearing a plaid coat and has a thick beard.
