JetFreak89
Never in the history of the NFL have the NY Giants and NY Jets selected first round QB's in the same year. Giants have drafted a Round 1 QB four times in: 1950, 1959, 1979, 2004 (Does not include Jared Lorenzen who was technically "one round QB") Jets have drafted a Round 1 QB six times in: 1962, 1965, 1976, 1983, 2000 and 2009 Can you imagine how scrutinized every game, hell every pass, each will make and how their careers would instantly be tied together to see who made the better choice? The Beat reporters would have the easiest jobs in the world. I'm sure the league would have drooled at a Rosen v. Darnold battle for New York storyline (thanks McCown) but what say you? Is this the year that it finally happens?
Mike135
We're likely drafting a DE to replace Wilk.
bla bla bla
Unless we sign Cousins, yes it will happen.
TuscanyTile2
The Giants are drafting a QB. The Jets are trading for Alex Smith.

But it's such nervous laughter because we all know theres a high chance of it happening. Scary stuff.
Matt39
Do the Jets have the record for consecutive defensive players taken in the first round?
southparkcpa
You guys are all SOJF..... the smart money has us taking a QB in round 2. THAT is where we have historically excelled.
UnitedWhofans
See the problem is using past history to predict the future in a draft is very tenuous.

JiFtheOracle
I really don't think we will. Once Rosen and Darnold are off the board and they will be, the next best 10 players are not going to be QB's and we all know Mac does not deviate from his big board.
