The Jets could get shut out for the second year in a row when the Pro Bowl teams are announced tonight. Their top candidates are MLB Demario Davis and, to a lesser degree, WR Robby Anderson. Davis has 84 solo tackles, tied for third among inside linebackers, per ESPN Stats & Information. His five sacks also are tied for third. Anderson has 888 receiving yards (13th among wide receivers) and seven TDs (tied-seventh).

Davis is the only one with any real shot at it.  He's in the top 10 for both total tackles and solos, and 5 sacks for an ILB is one thing that might jump out to voters in terms of stats.  I'm guessing he still won't make it, except perhaps as an alternate, given the overall mess of the Jets D, but he should probably grab himself a few votes.

Anderson is having a good year, but it's not enough to merit Pro Bowl consideration over plenty of much bigger names with better stat lines (at least in terms of totals).  Williams is the only one who might be able to get some votes based on rep alone, but I seriously doubt that's enough given his relatively quiet year and the ineptitude of the Jets.

There isnt a player on this roster who has a jersey I would recommend anyone purchase.

The young safeties have potential but think of those poor schmucks who bought Coples, Wilson, Sanchez jerseys.

Oh wait... I bought my UNC daughter a COPLES jersey when we drafted him.   Looks great in the car wash bucket.

But really, how many Jets jersey purchases have fans not grown to hate for decades now?  Most recent one I can think of that I'd always continue to wear was Martin.  I grew to hate my Revis jersey on two different occasions.  Plenty of others I simply never want to speak of again.

To me, more recent, there are a few.

I believe the following players earned the right to have their jerseys worn with pride.  Top of my head.

Mangold, Brick, Cotchery and ill throw in Leon Washington as a reach.  Im sure there are other but not many in the last 10 years.

i bought a robbie anderson jersey before the season and that's proved to be great so far.  it is absolutely pathetic, however, that the best jersey to buy on offense, and arguably on the entire team, is a guy who wasn't drafted.  and he may be the most known jet by the end of the season only b/c of fantasy, he was likely picked up by many owners during the year and probably helped some of those to win leagues.

Demarco Davis best player on team. Anybody call that? Haha

Everyone wants to bash Macc for Hack but at least his other picks are NFL players. He made up for Devin Smith (cant forsee injuries) with Robbie Anderson, Lee & Jenkins are showing good progress, Leo needs some help up front but he's a baller, Kearse was a GREAT trade, especially if Seattle doesn't make the playoffs (3 picks in the top 80!), Shell has a chance to improve, Edwards has been a good punter, Brooks looks like a keeper for McDougle, Adams & Maye are only going to improve with experience, If we get one good WR out of Stewart or Hanson that's a win (you always need good STs guys), Leggette & Donahue are still ?, McGuire is a nice 2/3 RB & the jury is still out on Jones & Clark?

This is a much better start than after Idzik was shipped out of here! We obviously need a QB, CB, fix the Oline & an edge rusher. With 3 picks in the top 80 not including our 3rd & 4th rounders & close to 100 million it can be done.

I'd love to see a list of every trade, signing and draft pick Macc has made.  I'm betting far more were good than bad, but the bad (Hack et. al.) really stick out.
