Jeff Fisher wants back in the game

According to Arizona Sports' Mike Jurecki, ex-Rams coach Jeff Fisher wants to get back into the NFL in 2018 and "could be eyeing" the Bears, Browns, and Colts' jobs if they open.

The Ringer's Mike Lombardi recently advised not to rule out Fisher getting another shot due to having a "lot of contacts" around the league and in the NFL offices. Fisher played and coached for the Bears back in the 1980s. But after his disaster run with the Rams and now seeing Sean McVay turn it around in just one season, it would be near impossible to sell a fan base on Fisher.

I simply cant take the Cigar Store Indian , lack of passion anymore.

I would have no problem getting rid of Bowles, but the idea of opting for someone with a much longer list of failures on his resume, simply because he doesn't put on a Rex-ish stage show on the sideline, has to be one of the most Jets-iest awful ideas out there.

This is a sign of the overdemand for new coaches expected, and why Bowles is not going anywhere.

Keep Bowles for 2018 but don't extend him.  Let him coach for his future.  Upgrade talent acquisition.

I think Bowles can take the Jets to the playoffs in 2018 if the picks and money is used wisely.  At that point in time he can upgraded if necessary.

My original post, now lost in the sauce was a "GUN" to your head hypothetical, would you rather have Fisher or Bowles. Id take Fisher, given only between him and Bowles. Agreed that Fisher has no real resume.

Is a "none" an option?  I mean, come on, who really needs a head coach anyway?

Fisher should move up to Management. his time as a HC is over...

But one need only look at the team that Fisher basically help assemble, the Rams, and you get a good feeling that he might be able to help build a team.

I wouldn’t want him being our water boy. The guy is such a horrible head coach that I don’t trust him anywhere near this organization.
