I think the most accurate prediction of what the world, and our daily existence, will end up resembling was in the original Blade Runner, where there was no sunlight, rampant poverty, and the only source of societal order manifests via corporatist control of a mechanized, technology-based synth army.

Will I still be able to watch my programs?

Yes, but those programs will, sans subtlety, force you to drink Coca Cola and download Microsoft data-management platforms or else Rutger Hauer will come to your res-unit and disembowel you.

The night is darkest before the dawn. Also that hope is like the sun. By that I mean if you believe in the sun only when you see it you shall never survive the night.

Thank you

So we should have given Kotite another 3 years?

the bottom line is nobody's life will really change if the jets do well or bad.  it just doesn't matter.  i'm not on the field playing or coaching so there is absolutely nothing i can do to change the team's outcome.  that's just part of being a fan.

Think the govt pretty much implied that aliens were real the other day.  If that’s possible then the Jets can finally solve this QB issue long term.  Allen’s stock is up.  He may get picked before the jets are up.  Mayfield and Jackson will be there.  Chris Johnson will intervene and push the GM and force the HC to play that pick.  That’s the story I keep telling myself...

Just get rid of Bowles and the sun will come out tomorrow.

The sun will come out
Tomorrow
Bet your bottom dollar
That tomorrow
There'll be sun!

Just thinking about
Tomorrow
Clears away the cobwebs,
And the sorrow
'Til there's none!

When I'm stuck in a day
That's gray,
And lonely,
I just stick out my chin
And Grin,
And say

Oh

The sun will come out
Tomorrow
So ya gotta hang on
'Til tomorrow
Come what may

Tomorrow!
Tomorrow!
I love ya
Tomorrow!

You're always a day away

When I'm stuck in a day
That's gray,
And lonely,
I just stick out my chin
And Grin,
And Say,
Oh

I myself lean towards Soylent Green. The oceans are done and they are the source of all life. Food will be history. Snack pack.

Soylent Green is People !!!! Guess I need to get a bigger car to live in

On a more serious note, start learning Mandarin now. Americans will be the maids and gardeners there in this coming generation

Funny how this thread started by the OP so nicely and the gloom and doom comes out right away. Surprising considering the pollyannish and cheery fans base that we have here.

Well,  with that exact quote in the current Star Wars movie, it is just a bit coincidental. :-)

That is the Government admitting UFO's exist? I don't think so. I want them to disclose and believe they are totally full of $hit too, but that is no admission of anything except some pilots saw some drones or something.
