Bugg
For Aaron Rodgers to be put on IR a 2nd time with the same injury, he has to clear waivers. If you're one of the Chosen teams, rules don't apply. But everyone else, GFYS. https://www.theguardian.com/sport/2017/dec/24/nfl-teams-say-packers-should-have-to-cut-aaron-rodgers-over-ir-rule-report

Warfish
NFL Officiating, especially the replay decisions, are the worst they've been in my memory. And yes, they seem biased as ****. Good example today, out lost early TD pass......the supposed "offensive Pass Interference". Gronk, a Patriot, does that on LITERALLY every pass he catches under coverage. Every. Single. One. It's ridiculous at this point.

nyjunc
we need to get rid of replay, all it does is delay games and they still make the wrong call far too often. let's get rid of it, sure some calls will be missed but it will be b/c of human error in the moment not taking 10 mins to look at it and still getting it wrong. Pereira KNOWS what is going on and can't say it. One must remember that this is what he! Folks who are Jets fans or even former players who say "oh it is just sour grapes and jealousy" or my favorite "you make your breaks" fail to see that the replay rule was put in place to overturn calls like Vinnie's helmet score against Seattle, not calls in which a replay official is substituting their judgement for that of the refs on the field.... It is also telling that these calls shifted momentum and hence the game. The idea that you can give Tom Brady extra advantages to win games by either allowing TDs or disallowing other TDs, game after game after game and that isn't effecting the overall outcomes of games is preposterous. Trust me cops know when a dirty cop acts and a former top referee in Mike Pereira knows when something isn't being properly done.... Finally Nyjunc above is right; if this is how replay is going to go just get rid of it; it is embarrassing at this point. I know that Nyjunc doesn't agree with me on the Pats but his point is well taken.
nycdan
You want to do 'clear and compelling' right? Have three review officials look at it from different rooms so they can't communicate. Only by unanimous agreement do you overturn. But that would take away the NFL's ability to control the outcome so it won't happen.
Bleedin Green
Riveron needs to be sh*t-canned. The NFL is putting all of the power in the hands of one guy, and he has absolutely no clue how the NFL replay system even works. There has been a constant never-ending stream of overturned calls this year that have come nowhere close to having conclusive evidence to justify those changes. That's not to mention the excessive frequency of a very clear subjective influence that exists in his decisions. At the very least, the league needs to concede that this idea of one guy making all of the decisions has been an absolute failure by every possible means. The replacement refs didn't show this level of incompetence.
ASH1962
most of the nfl teams are so bad, poorly coached that the nfl had to create an artificial dynasty by helping things along when they are needed. This is as obvious as the UFO cover up.

All the most controversial calls this year have been in Cheatriots games and all mystifyingly in favor of them, and on both sides of the rule both ridiculous uphold of a clear drop and the ludicrous calls we have seen lately. Second, I am not kidding in what I have been saying time and again: it cannot be a coincidence that every single one of these bogus calls (that take away a legitimate TD) always seem to go against teams playing against the Patriots. There should be a league investigation, although there won't be since Roger Goodell is probably in on it with his significant other, Bob Kraft. Why is it that these bogus calls are only happening during Patriots games, and only favor the Patriots?

That's it. The issue isn't the number of reviews. It's that the league office is overturning calls based on non-compelling video evidence. They have completely eroded trust in the process as it stands because one guy in NY can reverse a call on the field even when the film doesn't present incontrovertible evidence to support the reversal. So you get all of the TDs that aren't TDs, etc. Either fix that problem or do away with it entirely as someone earlier suggested. But the way it is now sucks donkey balls.
