Don’t like him as a prospect at all. Really don’t. Run first, one read QB’s aren’t worth it.

Vick went first. You would have to change your offense for him, but he could be a complete nightmare in the NFL if you commit to his skill set.

Regardless i am guessing as other QB's kind of lose steam, he is going to be moving up draft boards.

He’ll move up because he’s going to be a combine freak. April will really tell the story. But I would pass for Baker if I had a choice. If Bakers gone i’d take Finely later on.

I don't think there's any doubt Jackson could be a good NFL QB in the right system with the right supporting cast.  Whether Morton could or would tweak his system to incorporate Jackson's skill set will be interesting to see.  But if we sign 1 or 2 strong FA offensive linemen, get Enunwa back at 100% and keep ASJ, we may be in a position to draft Jackson

I could see really liking Jackson if he went back to school, was crazy efficient as a passer, and then won his bowl game. It’s impressive that he’s only 20 with so many starts already. In the 2018 draft I’d prefer to he rises enough to help Mayfield fall to the Jets.

If Darnold goes back to school you’ll see NYG take Mayfield..or I could be wrong and they go OL because their GM really is putting a premium tag on fixing that.

pretty sure he is lol

if you say so.

Darnold has a lot of talent but he’s definitely flawed. You’d like to see him evade that pressure a bit better and avoid the turnovers But the rush has been relentless.

He has made a few special throws. His playmakers have not been too helpful. Props to OSU.

Anyone think he is going to look a lot better as we get closer to the draft? i know he is projected as like a second rounder, but i could totally see him in the top 10.

Watch last years Citrus Bowl game film against LSU and then ask that question again.

I think they end up sticking with Manning. There is too much veteran talent and money in that locker room for a rookie, and they’re stuck with the current core of their roster for another year.

Jackson will have a very solid NFL career. He has the strong arm and off the charts athleticism. Accuracy, better decision making etc can be taught at the next level. Let him fall to us I’ll be more than happy!

Accuracy largely doesn't improve at the next level.

Jackson feels like the kind of guy some people want to go in the first, and the Jets take in the second after drafting a defensive player in the first round. Obviously a five technique or a corner would be traditional, but I'll go out on a limb and say an edge rusher is on the table this year based on this class.

I disagree.. in today’s NFL he will fit right in. Bridgewater is what comes to mind except for his athleticism far exceeds Teddy’s.

why would you do this to yourself?

1. Bridgewater  (Third and final year as starter)

A. Passing

303 427 71.0 3970 9.3 10.3 31 4 171.1

B. Rushing

63 78 1.2 1

2. Jackson (Third and final year as starter)

A. Passing

241 399 60.4 3489 8.7 9.3 25 6 151.5

B. Rushing

208 1443 6.9 17

---

So, the guy who throws 60% completion and averages 6.9 yards per carry reminds you of the guy who throws 71% completion and averages 1.2 yards per carry.

Yup. They sound totally the same.

I see the new GM going with the O-Line & giving Eli 2-3 more yrs to see what he has left, I don't really see how a New GM will pick a #1 QB @ the #2 spot knowing the Ownership is behind Eli.
