Lions fired Jim Caldwell... he had a 35-28 record & 2 playoff berths in 4yrs.... They're looking to replace him the patsies DC Patricia.

This is a great start to 2018. Belichick is a great coach but losing Patricia & McDaniels will have an effect on continuity, especially with Brady @ 41 years old. I think Patricia worked miracles with that Pats roster on defense. They played us without Hightower, Branch, Flowers.

When Scarnechia retired their Oline went down the tubes with him, the guy is the best hold teacher in the NFL. He should teach classes to incoming draftees, (How to hold & get away with it!), another Pats game with not one offensive holding call (amazing).

Never has this Patriots team been so vulnerable, but here we were again yesterday trotting out Bryce Petty, a guy that we've literally wasted 3 years on. To really gauge how inept the offensive coaching, Oline, skill players have been on this team, you only needed to watch Pettys sh*tty footwork, high throws, wild misses from 8 yards away, to see that this guy has been lucky to be holding a clip board for 3 years.

This organization has to FINALLY get serious about offensive football in a league determined to tie the defenses hands. Explosive offenses need explosive players, (Bilal Powell, Anderson, Kearse, ASJ) are ALL OK players, who would benefit greatly from STUDS taking the pressure off. They are all secondary parts to an offensive puzzle.

#1- Obviously we need to solve the QB conundrum. #2- Fix the Oline! Grab Jensen from the Ravens & draft some guys. #3- We need a stud WR (Jarvis Landry would take pressure off everyone & instantly be the #1 WR & would be perfect for the WCO), #4- Explosive RB! If Bryce Love is staring at us in the 2nd round draft him & don't look back (Powell is a BACKUP, pure & simple, obviously he's off the juice & back to being his average self). #5 After watching ASJ all season, I'm not impressed, bobbles a lot of catches, hell, just keep Sterling & maybe go after Jimmy Graham.

I know there are many here who disagree with going after Cousins, but Cousins could easily run this WCO Morton coaches, imagine if McClinchy drops to us at 6, we sign in free agency, Jensen, Landry, Graham. Draft a stud RB & pass rusher in the 2nd. Let's stop giving Bowles all of these top draft picks for defense & force him to do some real player development with some 3rd/4th/5th picks for his defense.

Hell, we held the Chargers to 14 points! Pats to 26, with ZERO OFFENSE! I'd like my chances to put some points on the board with Cousins/Landry/Kearse/Enunwa/Anderson/Graham/Sterling playing behind McClinchy/Carpenter/Jensen/Winters/Shell with a Stud RB (Bryce Love) in the backfield. That lineup will put Jet fans in the seats for the opener (place would be buzzing with excitement).

After jettisoning Mo/Skrine/Forte we'll have 100 million. 3 picks in the top 50. Get it done Macc, this sh*t is doable! Fix this mess in one offseason.

Don't be so sure. Brady definitely is having some Achilles problems & they don't go away with age. They'll finally play 3 good teams in a row now, after playing a bunch of schlubs & getting another ref win in Pittsburgh. The league in general has been horrible, I live in New England & see the Pats, contrary to what everyone is blabbing this is their worst team in years.

Promo said it without saying it in the telecast. I can tell he's not impressed.

Even the lions are smarter then us.  Unbelievable.

Maybe if Bowles went 5-11 with Stafford as his QB he would have had a similar fate.  Not all teams are in the same situation.  Woody fired Mangini after a 9-7 season.
