Report dropping tomorrow implying Belichick and Brady are done with each other

I'll believe it when I see it.  More likely this is ESPN making a mountain out of a mole hill.  Yeah Belichick has pushed back on Brady's trainer being in the building, and he's probably pissed at Brady over deflate gate because he probably didn't even know.  But I doubt a divorce is looming.

If Beli wanted to keep JG, and was undermined...

This story is not that far-fetched at all.

They have been trading players for  something rather than letting them walk away for nothing or paying them for years

It's more likely they traded Jimmy because Brady wants to play for 5 more years

It's such an incredible story... I have to think that it is almost too ridiculous to be fake.

As regards who gets the credit ? Clearly it's a confluence of a great qb, great coaching plus some great scouting/ player personnel decision making. It's a fun guessing game but methinks neither of them would have sniffed 5+ wins without the other.

Teams have had to divorce hall of fame legendary icons before

Montana

Favre

Rice

Emmitt Smith

Ronnie Lott

Joe Namath

In a power struggle, the player loses because of age

I would love for this to be true, but it doesn't pass the sniff test

IDK...the odds are long on Brady playing another 5 years, and Bellichik always got rid of players near the end of their usefulness.  Maybe Brady thought that short a SB this year Bellichik would have pressed to start Garrapolo next year and moved on from Brady?

Weird, but when big egos all around start to clash, who knows?

If either Belicheck or Brady wants to come to the Jets to stick it to one another or Kraft, count me all in.

I couldn't stomach it.  I would rather continue the misery and wait for the Jets to find their own solution.  Even if it takes another 30 years.  I may not have that long... but at least it would feel pure if they finally get it right.

I cannot support either of those f*ckfaces.

Maybe not 5, but long enough where franchise tagging a back up QB wouldn't make sense.

They can still draft an heir and give him 2 years to develop.

If this is true than lol at kraft for letting Jimmy go and potentially McDaniels and the hobo too and keeping 2 guys that hate each other

So if Belichick was going to start JG next year why would he trade him off of Brady complaining?

The only good thing about the Pats securing home field advantage is I get to watch that pig fan base sit in stunned silence when the Chiefs go in there and whip their asses.

At that point this story would be all anyone is talking about.

With crooks, watch out for slight of hand distractions....

That's it

What better way to hype up a super bowl run where the 3 crooks hug it out with a Lombardi at the end

Well, the report was that Brady went to Kraft to force the trade of Jimmy G...so I take it he sort of went over Bellichik's head.

Now, the only two left are Brady and Bellichik as Kraft ain't selling the team...and Bellichik is what, 65?  66?

Maybe Bellichik is the odd man out now lol....how many more years does he have in him anyway?

Weird as I said...who knows??

Trading Brady to San Francisco, and starting Garrapolo would have be the ultimate Belichickian move, that would have been fun to see Brady out of the division. I'd take my chances facing Jimmy G. twice a year as good as he is.

So Kraft traded JG?  I don't believe that and Kraft would have to be crazy to get rid of Belichick over a QB who could retire in a year.

Sounds like a whole lot of made up drama by ESPN

Belicheat's arrogance has finally gotten to the point where he actually believes that he, not Brady, is responsible for the Pats success.  Good one, Bill.

I think it's easily been the combination and that one would have never had the same success without the other. Plus, they both cheated a lot.

That would have been more than just fun.  Agree, would much rather face Jimmy G than Brady.  Though the 1 in 8 chance that he is injured against us is hard to turn away from.
