Today's NY Post-

"It sure was a great idea for some media deep thinkers to randomly smear Doug Marrone and frighten the ever-spineless Woody Johnson off him, wasn’t it? How’s that turned out for everybody?"

If Woody didn't hire Marrone because of Mehta and the other sh*thead Mike Lupica, than Woody bears 100% of the responsibility.  I thought Marrone did a nice job with the Bills and should have been a strong consideration with the Jets.  That said, lets see how things workout over the long run before judging if the Jets lost out or not.  Bowles went 10-6 in his first year with the Jets and didn't qualify for the playoffs base on a tie breaker.

With the easiest schedule in the NFL and he sat our best RB for some unknown reason, and did I mention Ryan Fitzpatrick choked again. Carry on.

That's exactly why Woody didn't hire him. Manish is the real president of football operations

Marrone has done nothing special/unique in JAX.  Gus Bradley was such a train
wreck as a HC that just being average has allowed them to finally live up to
their talent level.  If anyone thinks different they didn't watch JAX

And, as awful as he's been, he still beat and out-coached Marrone.

Ivory and Powell sat because they were hurt, btw.

Marrone is nothing special.

He sat the RBs because they were injured.  How many times can you write this

BTW Chris Ivory reeled off a 58 yard run if that game if you recall. Injured?

Is this a real question?  The HC says he was hurt, the RB says he was hurt, everyone says they were hurt.  Joe Willy says it's BS, the HC just wanted to lose the game.  Makes more sense to blame Bowles, he really thought he didn't need his starting RBs though

OR A SET !

It a better imagination.  There was no agreement in place.  Right from the beginning it was reported he blew the interview.

But hey the agenda that Woody is spineless and was scared off by Manish makes more sense to some.  The same Woody who with pretty much every reporter calling for Rex's head let him survive too long.  Same over, different agenda

Funny you should say that—there was one reporter who carried water for Rex until the day he was fired (and beyond). Would you like to guess which reporter it was, Jet Nut?

It’s amazing how Jets fans refuse to deny this plainly obvious phenomenon and still insist that Woody Johnson deserves to own a football team.

You keep talking in posts in the third person Manish.
