I like the 2nd round pick on an OL guy... But I think I'd rather grab a tackle right now over a Center.

Someone like  OT Orlando Brown, OT Connor Williams, or maybe even OT Kolton Miller who currently has a late 1st round type grade.

And I'd even consider taking one of those guys with the 37th pick as opposed to the 49th.

They need more pieces there before it even matters who's playing QB.

I like it, but I’d say no to Bell. With Enunwa’s neck issues (disc issues will definitely be an issue moving forward) I’d rather sign a Center instead. Then pick a RB in round 2. We should have enough WRs for next season to cover Enunwa if/when he aggravates his injury.

I can see this board exploding if Mac takes two defenders with his two first picks, but Chubb and Vea would be a nice haul if available.

I don't like spending big FA $$ on RBs.  Bell may be a special player - but over 750 touches the last 2 years, I just don't know how much tread is left on those tires.  I would rather spend on OL and draft an RB.

I also think you are leaving us thin at WR -- especially since we have not way of knowing how Enunwa will return after neck surgery.  I woudl want to add an experienced WR in free agency as well.

If Chubb lasts to 6, and we already have our QB - he would be a great pick.  I just doubt he in on the board at 6.

This made me cream my pants but I don't think Vita Vea will last till the 2nd round.   Once some scouts but that tape on and see's he's unblockable I think he shoots but the board.

Is he worse than another UW NT grad, Danny Shelton?  Shelton went 12th overall.

Reminds me of Ngata.

Things I like:

Cousins, Bell, hopefully/probably Chubb, the two OL picks

Things I don’t like:

Too much defense, no outright OT prospect as IIRC Cappa was invited to the Senior Bowl as an IOL

Edit: Cappa is an OT. AustinCorbett is the one invited as a C.

I'm in on this - I wasn't a fan of taking Bell in FA because value can be had in Draft but hearing he is a big Jets fan has swayed me if we can get the right pieces around him.

Luke Falk is interesting - could be a 'project' which is everyones least favourite word after Hackenberg but ....

Also Vita Vea - I hope he drops to us in 2!!!

If i'm to leave the "Cousins" argument alone and just accept it--

Then not bad... A lot I like. Signing Bell is not prudent, and doesn't make sense. That's just wishful thinking on your part. We're rebuilding, draft a back. Sign a WR. If we pay Kirk the 46 Million a week he's going to ask, you better get him some fkcing weapons. We're not rolling out Anderson and Broken Neck Enunwa as our 1 and 2.

And Trumaine is meh. In fact, i don't like your FA approach at all. Like the draft though. Good stuff in there.

Bell will be an even bigger jets fan when Macagnan gives him $100 mil guaranteed to be a part-time back

Solid FA, although I don't know anything about the DL you mentioned. Is he meant to replace Mo?

Resignings and cuts are ok.

1st 3 picks are fine, although I don't like Luke Falk even in the 3rd round. I don't know much about your later round guys.

Really great thought process. I like it. Fall is accurate. Just needs to hit the weight room and get some of those NFL amino acids.

Exciting.

But undone by a very subpar O-Line unable to block for either the expensive QB or the expensive RB.

Maybe cut back on flash and do something more with the O-Line.

i.e. A little less sizzle, a little more steak.

Your plan is definitely not the way I’d go, but it would certainly make headlines.

P.S. Falk will not be available by the 3rd.
