Few Ketel One and sodas in but Jax May have the secret sauce to beat NE

1. Bortles must play well no turnovers, however can’t play scared.  Will have to complete a few 3rd and longs

2. Fournette and Jax OL must dominate

3. C Campbell and M Jackson play game of their lives ala Sean Ellis in NE

4. Myles Jack, Telvin Smith and others can contain Gronk w J Ramsey taking away b Cooks

5. Couple of mistakes or Special teams issues.... there you have it:

The Sauce

Won;t happen.  Seen this thing too many times.  a team you think has a shot against these guys.  There will be some jax injury, some fluke turnover, a couple of awful ref calls.

Pats are going to win easy.  Pitt played about as stupid of game as you can get and lost by 3 points.

Tom Coughlin and Marrone may not have the QB... but they have a team that can compete there.

The Jaguars will be prepared.   Marrone has coached many times against BB.  He has balls and will not be intimidated.

I did forget the coughlin factor, he is the pats krytonite.

42-12 Patriots.

Damnit Shane... I hate the word "hope."

I turn 40 on Super Bowl Sunday.  My lovely wife is throwing me a party.  All I want is not to have to watch those Massholes... again.

Lemme "think" Jax can beat them if the refs don't get involved.

Well....  you would have to drink to draw that conclusion.   Brady won’t be beat by Bortles.

Fournettes ankle will balloon overnight

Bortles is due for a meltdown

The officials will not be denied

You forgot a 1st quarter injury to Jalen Ramsey.

A soul-crushing fumble by Ivory or Yeldon.

A muffed punt or some other tragic special teams error.

Perhaps a successful Patsie double-pass flea flicker.

Etc...

A great 40th gift will be a Pats loss followed by a NE meltdown including BB resigning

However what will happen: Pats win easy.... you are now “old”...maybe you throw your back out, you feel early onset of the flu, SB party is celebrated w a big Pats win

happy 40th

To beat NE, JAX really only has to do 1-thing: figure out how to stop the running game/screen game.

Gronk will get double-teamed as he has been all year, but really, NE has won on the legs/hands of Lewis/Burkhead/White... They make all the clutch plays, 3rd conversions, score 80% of the TDs -- essentially doing most of the dirty work.

If JAX can come up with an answer to neutralize anything out of the backfield, they can serve up another upset.

If the NFL allows it, it will happen.  The refs did all they could to help Pitt today, but failed.

The Jags secondary already got called for holding and it’s a week before kickoff

The NFL will do everything to get the pats into the Super Bowl forget about Kraft’s connections just tv ratings alone

Good point but was that game over by then? no doubt the calls were questionable

Vs the pats* Decker called for OPI, vs the Jags refs give AB the TD after much bigger push
