He’s still a better short term option then what we have. There’s a chance we don’t get a QB that’s worth starting in the draft and someone needs to start so why not him.

A football organization is supposed to try like hell in the off season to improve the team especially after going 5-11 and having went the last 3 years with old loser QB's you would hope they would learn a lesson. The fact that this team hasn't been in the Super Bowl for 49 years is also another clue that they need to get better and improve change the way they been doing things. So Case Keenum is a big HELL NO.

Hopefully the QB they use the #6 pick on. I've seen enough NFL loser re-treads for a lifetime.

Ok. What if the top guys are gone and the only choice is a huge question mark. Do you draft him anyway, stay with McClown and say screw next season and hope for the best or pick up a better option then McClown which Keenum is and let a rookie sit behind him till he’s ready and have a chance to win with Keenum.

Keenum is a guy who looks good on a team with good WR, a good oline, decent running game and top 3 defense.  He would get destroyed in the jets and be no upgrade over mccown.

agreed !.. if u surround him with very good players.. he can be productive in a system   ;)

Jets would be way better off resigning McCown to a one year deal than giving Keenum a 3 year dealor trading draft picks for Alex Smith

Top 2 gone when the Jets pick you take the #3 that the organization, coaches, scouts,GM have deemed the #3 QB in the draft.
