Pretty much. Demario's an average player. The three edge guys they drafted were weak athletes. Donahue's combine numbers were not NFL worthy.

Davis did have a monster season to his credit though. PFF has him rated as a high quality player and the #9 LB in the league. 135 tackles and 5 sacks.

My god they are not calling holding at all in these games.  "I don;t know how foles did that!  (Maybe massive holding lol)

They might as well just take that call out of the rule book.  You can actually rationalize it by saying it protects the QB. Just no below the knee blocking. Bedsides that, anything goes.

Everyone is talking about Keenum earning himself a big pay day...but Nick Foles might be earning himself a bigger one.  Outside of the Fisher led Rams (1 season), he's played like a legitimate NFL QB.  He's playing better and better each game.  Now that he's comfortable, he looks more like the guy from 2013 than the guy in 2015.

Yeah, it’s impossibly frustrating to watch.

The reality is, had those same that things that went well for Jax not gone well, that same playcalling would’ve been called into question as well.

They were overmatched, on the road, with a non-clutch QB going up against a clutch one. They can’t have points taken off the board, and have their main reason for being there - the defense - get neutralized by uncalled holding penalties by the Pats’ OL. Just on top of all the lopsided penalty yardage and not calling them against NE’s OL to the point you’d think it was in the rulebook that they’re allowed to hold, literally removing 7 pts off the board with their unnecessary early whistle on the Jack would-be TD ...at some point we have to accept Jacksonville isn’t good enough to overcome all that.

JAX went for 4th and 1 all season and then got scared when the game was on the line.  4th and 1 at the 42 and JAX could have put it away.

Because of the RPO system .. it will not last though. Once teams get the RPO on film .. he’s done for. That’s why it’s okay that he is a back up. This won’t be their Offense forever.

Ehhhhh, the RPO has been around a while.  The Pederson offense is more Andy Reid WCO than anything else.  He came in for Alex Smith last year in almost the exact same offense, and put up some solid numbers over 3 games:

RPO really is nothing more than a certain design of play action plays.

Do you think Giants fans are watching this and all the sudden are a bit less excited about their coaching hire?

Honest question.  If it was the Jets, and the incoming HC's unit was laying an egg like this, would it take some of the off the hire to you?

He got off the hook last week with 2 dumb pass calls that left the saints plenty of time to take the lead too

I like Foles a lot. He’s got a cannon, is experienced and can hold the fort for a couple years until the QB we draft at 6 will be ready. Huge upgrade over McClown.  There’s always Sanchez. ?
