Heads Up!!!

Recommended Posts

The Senior Bowl practices start today and are being covered on the NFL
Network.  This is the final week of "real football" as we enter the
pre-draft process.  QB's like Mayfield, Allen, Falk, Benkert and White
are going to be there and it will be interesting to see which unknown
player starts the "rise".  Wentz was on his way to being the #2 pick
in the draft after his performance

BOLD PREDICTION: Josh Allen is going to go 6/10 on Saturday, and the absolute stupidest people in the world are going to hop on here and say things like “hmm I wonder where are all the geniouses who say he couldnt complete 60% of his passes

50-50 chance he drops into 2nd round. Jets can trade back to 15 and take him while scooping up a 3rd 2nd round pick ?

still a wasted pick but I am almost resigned to Allen being a Jet - IMHO they should not even look at a QB with under 60% in NCAA

Allen May fall to 20s. If Mac wants him he should trade back and pick up another 2nd. But we all know mac reaches with picks. Lee, hackenberg, ect

With how highly I've heard Kiper and McShay talk about Allen I'd be stunned if NFL scouts don't feel the same way. That's why I think he is going to be a top 10 pick. I'm kinda fine with any new QB but if I got to pick my order of preference would be:

1) Cousins

2) Darnold

3a) Mayfield

3b) Rosen

5) Allen

Rosen scares me, I think he is the most NFL ready and would be a fine pick but I'm not sure we'll say the right things to the press and he's a player I could see retiring early to save his mind since his dad is a spine surgeon.

The intentional misspelling of "geniuses" really makes this post shine.

That is why I think Luke Falk is intriguing.  Guy was always around 65-70 percent completion rating, pocket passer, very poised in said pocket, and quite accurate.  He sometimes holds the ball a little long, and needs to anticipate a throw a bit more (throw to a spot not wait for your player to hit said spot), but I think the kid is good.

AND will probably get drafted by the Patriots at the end of round 1, sit behind Brady for 4 years, and then take over where Brady leaves off.

He's also had shoulder surgery already, and multiple concussions.

It's almost as dumb as the people that say he won't be good having never watched him play a game.

This is what really scares me about Rosen.

Whatever personality flaws he has will be revealed in the interview process.  I have no way to determine what they are, but the injuries are way to much IMO to be trading away probably 2 draft to move up and get him

Lol. too bad those big hands can't make him a good QB

Scouts gonna scout, what you think of him means jack sh*t, you all need to accept this kid is going to get drafted top 5 get over it, and the Mayfield crowd needs to come to the realization that he will NOT be going in the top 15, possibly not even the 1st round (he belongs in the 3rd round).

oh, I have accepted that some team will draft him high. And then that team will be drafting another QB high in 3 years after they give up on him.

It’s funny because we all know its true. Like I wish this was a joke but we all know it is not.

Mason Rudolph - QB -  Player

Oklahoma State QB Mason Rudolph (foot) said he should be ready for the Combine.

Rudolph is sitting out the Senior Bowl because of a mid-foot sprain, but it should be healed up by early March. The quarterback did show up to the Senior Bowl for interviews and the weigh-in, coming in at 6-foot-4, 229 pounds with a 9 1/8 inch hand span. Rudolph is one of several quarterbacks who could come off the board in the first round.
