sorry but I think he's on to something.  My jr high team watched Rocky before our championship game and it worked.

Rocky featured Gonna Fly Now. Listen, feel, sense the vast difference.  That’s the song they listened to. Had they listened to Push it to the limit your son’s team would’ve been beaten down like the Pats beat us 45-3. They should change the title to Push it up your butthole.

Agreed because when you really break it down, Daniel was the bully in that movie.  And she stuck by his side and ignored the facts.  That's a good woman.

The song though?  Fire!

Imo Daniel deserved to get his ass kicked. He was an unlikable punk. She's was the hottest girl in school, she could have had anyone. She didn't need to deal w his tough guy bullsh*t but looked passed it all. She even befriended a grown man who beat up high school kids, but bc he was Daniel's friend that was good enough for her. Then the little dbag gets up and leaves her first chance he gets and starts banging Asian women. And so what does Elizabeth Shue do, powers through it all and goes on to be an incredible oscar nominated actress in Hollywood.

Well said...and lets be honest, Daniel ruined Johnny's joint for no good reason....and Johnny got his ass kicked for it?  So ****ed up.

Daniel was a true piece of sh*t.

+1 Johnny was obviously from a bad background and was just looking for a father figure and to be loved and he found that at Cobra Kai. Sensei Kreese established a family atmosphere at his dojo, gave those kids a home, Daniel and Miyagi systematically destroyed their safe haven.

100%.  What kind of a$$hole storms into someones place of work for no reason when he's diligently teaching the youth of america discipline and self defense, only to start an unnecessary confrontation and challenge everyone to a fight...but only on his terms?  And this was after he sneak attacked the entire dojo in the middle of the night and kicked a bunch of teenagers asses.

It's unreal.  We should write a script.  Johnny's revenge: Cobra Kai strikes back!

Don't even get me started on the child protection labor laws Miyagi abused. Hey dickface this ain't Japan. Daniel was too much of a dumbass thug hungry for power and became his blind henchman. It's basically Vader/Emperor set in 1984 California.

Part of me feels bad for Daniel son.  His mom really ****ed around with his mental state, taking him for the east coast to a seedy part of Cali and then she outsourced parenting to a psycho ex-kamikaze pilot who survived his suicide mission.  And then you find out how he dishonored his families name in part 2 and you're like, MOM OF THE YEAR!!!

So watching movies has opened my eyes to the power of montaging. This is when you train and get better at everything during the full length of one specific song. Tony Montana used it to achieve his dreams and become a powerful drug dealer:

Rocky used it to beat Drago:

Perhaps the Jets should look towards these star characters and their training methods to become the best.

I too believe in this idea but i'd use this song:

seems appropriate

No More Kings got much of their exposure from their 2007 music video "Sweep the Leg", which is presented as a continuation of the 1984 film The Karate Kid and features the entire original male cast except for the late Pat Morita, who portrayed Mr. Miyagi in the film. Martin Kove reprises his role as Sensei Kreese, and the actors who played the Cobra Kai members in the 1984 film, Ron Thomas, Rob Garrison, and Tony O'Dell are also part of the cast. William Zabka, who played villain Johnny Lawrence in the movie, directed the video as well. Pat E. Johnson, who was the martial arts director for the 1984 The Karate Kid as well as the martial arts director for Bruce Lee, worked on this video. Dennis Haskins and Liza Snyder also make an appearance. Sweep the Leg was also featured on Sony's MLB 08: The Show. The video received over 80,000 views within its first week of release and became the number one video on YouTube on March 16, 2007. The premise for the music video finds William Zabka living in a trailer in the desert, now an out-of-work actor who has become obsessed with The Karate Kid and the fight he lost years ago. He is haunted by the band No More Kings and chases Pete Mitchell across the desert until they have a final showdown. He then claims victory, but after realizing it was a fantasy, William Zabka is run over by Ralph Macchio as Pete Mitchell looks on. The music video references not only The Karate Kid, but also the 1986 film Back to School (which also stars William Zabka), the 1987 film Raising Arizona and the 1984 video for The Cars song, "You Might Think." There are various versions of the video, the longest being a little over seven minutes. The video was collaboration between No More Kings' record label Astonish Records, and Chapter Seven Films, a film company in Los Angeles.

The Mom was an enabler. Everybody knows Daniel killed his dad which is why they had to pick up and leave cross country in the first place.

Totally irrelevant and this show is awful.  Like, only people who are dead laugh at this type of sh*t.  Why do you continue posting nonsensical gifs' that have nothing to do with the conversation?

They're not amusing.

Thug kid kills drug Lord dad, Mom moves cartel cross country, sets him up w an evil master ninja where he can hone his skills, both grow in power, after successfully destroying lower middle class urban California, Master and henchman take their bloodlust for more power across the ocean to destroy and take over Japan, which was Miyagi's master plan from the start.
