Love:

Rosen, Darnold

Hate:

Allen, Keenum, Bridgewater, Alex Smith, KEAPERNICK (shouldn't be an option at all)

Okay with, but not excited as hell about:

Cousins, Mayfield, Jackson, Falk, Bradford (as #2 / mentor to Rosen, Darnold,)

Draft a young QB, period.

If they bring in a veteran on the cheap along with that, fine. Heck, could even tolerate another few games of McCown. But that's not going to be Kennum, Smith nor Cousins.Theyr'e gonna cost you, and worse, the idiot  Bowles will play them over a rookie.

Love: Cousins, Smith, Kaepernick, Taylor, McCarron - all capable of taking you to the playoffs or serve as a true competitive bridge QB to a youngster, which is why I also loved: Rosen, Rudolph and Faulk.

Hate: the Vikings QB's, Darnold, Jackson, Allen and I put Mayfield but I'm slowing warming up to the idea.

Are you feeling okay? I’m a little worried about you.

haha - I said slowly warming up.  I'm not there yet.  I still dont think he translates but I'm at the point of where the Jets need to take swings and there is enough there to swing at.  And because this QB class is so underwhelming, he's looking more and more appealing in comparison to his peers.

You will get there.?

these Senior Bowl updates are really encouraging me tbh. Throwing in very tight windows and lookin more and more comfortable from under center with each rep.

Dan Marino and John Elway love him. Has to count for something right???‍♂️

I hate all of this, it's only going to push him out of reach.

I will never be 100% sold on Mayfield and if we took him at #6 I'd be pissed because I think Mahomes and Watson are 5x the prospect.

I'm warming up to the idea of drafting him though, strictly because the Jets need to do something and every other prospect not named Rosen looks like dog sh*t to me in the 1st round.

The bold? No. Not really.  Elway apparently loved Paxton Lynch and Brock Osweiler.   It actually might be a sign Mayfield sucks.

I predict that the Jets will NOT draft a QB in round one, but will bring McCown back, add Minkah Fitzpatrick (stupidly) in yet another futile struggle to put together a reasonable secondary. Once again offensive needs like OL, WR and RB will come in later rounds with lesser talents and QB will be addressed down the line. And of course Bowles will NOT PLAY HIM whoever he is and however good he looks. I saw a thread which - I think -accurately said that Todd Bowles is running the entire organization and that is the problem. He is chasing the same thing Rex Ryan chased - his tail.

Love: Cousins, Darnold, Rosen - simply those with the best chance of "franchise" potential

ABSOLUTELY HATE:
Keenum - Overrated one hit wonder who will be massively overpaid by a team that will live to regret it
Bradford - More injury prone than Pennington, and overrated when rarely on the field
Smith - A career of "pretty good" for a player in his mid-30s that would require giving something up in a trade.  If he were to be cut, I wouldn't hate it, but still wouldn't love it.
Kaepernick - How is this even still a thing?  Completely out of league, and sucked for last few years in it.

The rest I'm mostly indifferent to, but would have varying degrees of optimism (draft picks) or shoulder-shrugging (FAs).

Sums it up nicely.

Yet I would add the category “ holy crap it’s on now bitches!” If we get Baker Mayfield. He may be terrible or terrific but damn, I thinks it would make boring ass Jets football exciting again.

Would Love to have: Darnold, Rosen, Jackson, Cousins

Would Hate to have: Everyone else on the list

Will never get: Darnold, Rosen (they are going 1 and 2 and no trade is going to change that. It's a lock, IMO)

Will be lucky to get: Cousins (I think he will stay in Washington or go somewhere other than the Jets...regardless of $$$)

Will have the option to get: Jackson (I don't see him going in the top 5, barring a trade, which is unlikely. He should be there for the Jets at 6)

The most realistic scenario IMO is for the Jets to draft Jackson at 6. I love his upside, I love his explosiveness...he will be really be fun to watch. It will also be fun to have a young uber-talented rookie. I also believe the Jets will probably bring him up slowly, continuing to build the team around him. If they draft Jackson, I would not be surprised if they signed another journeyman while he develops. I believe that's a good thing, even though Jets fans are hungry for a winner, even though it may mean another 5-11 season.

Love Mayfield, Rosen, and if he could be obtained... Garrapolo.

Hate Keenum, Bradford, Allen, Kaep,

Don't think there's any way Garapolo is coming here even if somehow Niners eff that up.

Oh yeah, I would definitely get excited if they took Mayfield, but would not exactly have the greatest confidence of how it'd all work out.

Exactly ! But would be way better than the AARP annual milktoast breakfast and bingo mixer of never been QBs we been putting out there.

Cmon do you think Bowles will play ANY rookie over McClown. We could land Darnold or Rosen and the only thing they’d be playing is Madden on the sidelines with Hack. Petty would join in online.

Absolutely. I'm sick of being an "also-ran" and that seems to be just fine for this current team.

This storyline is kind of b.s. and not really supported by truth. Bowles has yet to have a young QB clearly outplay the vet. It just has not happened yet. Neither Petty nor Hack could do it when competing with Fitz or McCown. And vets get the edge anyway. They just have more in game experience, know the playbook better and can be relied on more than rookies. You wanna tell me if only Bowles rolled the dice with Petty or Hack then the Jets would have had a playoff season? I doubt it.

And why are you calling him McClown? He played his heart out and played well for a team that was given no chance by anybody. What could you possibly have against the guy? Was he a locker room cancer? Was he a turnover machine that lost games the Jets should have won? Did he somehow make a bunch of boneheaded plays that prevented the Jets from getting into the playoffs or winning the SB?

Bowles, like most old-school coaches, will start the best player at the position. That was McCown and Fitz. And it just goes to show how bad Hack and Petty must have looked.

I GUARANTEE you if the Jets drafted a QB and he tore up camp and pre-season, there is no way Bowles would opt for a veteran that only did so-so. Neither Hack nor Petty ever won the job...and it wasn't b/c of Bowles. It was b/c they stunk.

Those amazing 5 wins by playing McClown may have just ruined your theory ??‍♀️

Don't really "love" the QB's, so voted "love" for those I'd accept or like in general terams, with limits.  Like Cousins and cost, as an example.

Bit of advice, PLEASE make the "who voted what" option public on these kinds of polls if you're going to the effort to make them.

Poll is useless really if it can't be used later to call out liars who say different things later than they did during.  Just say'in.

Voted "love"  Cousins, Smith, Taylor, Mayfield, Falk.  Votes hate for all other options.

I just can’t take it if McCown is the QB and the Jets draft someone and then talk about it will be two years before they start that guy.

Under that plan it could be a decade since the Jets even sniffed the playoffs!!

I saw this coming and this is why I was so adamant about getting quality or improved QB play in here two years ago.  That is what Fitzpatrick cost us about five years.
