#SeniorBowl: Just based on prospect interest, I expect the #Cowboys, #Steelers, #Jets and #Chargers to all be solid buyers in the wide receiver market either in free agency or the draft the next few months.

Now this guy is basing it on prospect interest but who do you guys think is atop their list??  Allen Robinson?  Jarvis Landry?  I really hope they don't go after a WR until maybe the 3rd round if they decide to do it via draft.  I personally don't want them to touch the WR position with either of our top 3 picks.

Trey Burton, please!

Robinson’s a player the Jaguars can afford to keep and he has little reason to leave. Plus he’s a little overrated.

Watkins was a beast on the field but is always injured. Relatively speaking I think he’s the best impact WR that will hit FA.

Le’veon Bell caught 160 passes the past two years with 40% or so going for first downs

Some other smaller buys: Paul Richardson? Moncrief?

Yeah seems like a nice buy hidden behind bigger names in FA. FO has him as a top 25 WR in 2017 by both DVOA and DYAR.

He and Trey Burton together probably don’t cost much more than Landry (46 and 59 per DVOA and DYAR) by himself.

It's nice to see the team finally realizing that there is more than one side of the football. Landy or Robinson would be GREAT adds for this offense and players that could help attract Cousins. With Robby Anderson's situation, it's almost a must that this team go after WR in FA. I think they can find a starting caliber RB in the 2nd round with one of their two picks and the Qb will hopefully come from FA (Cousins) or our #1 pick.

The last thing I want is another stop-gap type QB like Mccown etc..

I think we should prepare more for guys like Bruce Ellington than the Sammy Watkins’ of FA.

But if you REALLY want to look into the crystal ball... both Jaron Brown (ARI) and John Brown (ARI) are free agents, and guys like Geronimo Allison (GB) and Jeff Janis (GB) SCREEEEAM Mike McCaggnan-type  guys. But I also wouldn’t count out Ryan Grant (WAS) for the Cousins’ connection.

If they draft a QB in round 1, I'll be fine with having McCown around for another year. If they don't draft a QB in round 1, they better get Cousins. Cut Petty and Hack.

Or this is just another lame excuse for Macc to go defense in round 1 fourth year in a row

Moncrief is underrated. He’s not a #1 WR tho

Moncrief should already be a Jet except Idzik, Moncrief was picked after Pryor, Amaro and Dex! unreal, maybe Mac can take some fan mock drafts and get those players in FA :)

Bridgewater, Landry and Moncrief might have worked out better (guess it could not have been worse)

Contrary to popular believe around here, but a broke-neck Quincy Enunwa and Robbie 1-route do not exactly form a competent WR corps.

It's actually astonishing how little Mac has added to this roster in his tenure. All that FA money, and he couldn't make 1 single contract he handed out last over 3 years. Talk about HORRIBLE pro-scouting and decision making.

I guess this is why I'm just not as psyched about the spending spree we could potentially go on this off-season. I have almost zero confidence in the evaluation and long-term potential for anyone that Mac adds as a FA.

This doesn't even get into the remarkable level of meh he's achieved through the draft.

Amazing that all 3 can be had this offseason. Moncrief would be a solid addition for us though, absolutely.

This report is based on "prospect interest"...what does that mean?  The Jets have talked to a WR at the Senior Bowl or they watched the WR's practice?  Isnt that the whole point of the event?

And why wouldnt they be interested in WR prospects? They should be interested in all prospects. There isnt a single position on the entire roster that couldnt be upgraded this offseason.

Jarvis Landry should be top of our list. He’s a perfect WR for the way rules are written. Better version of all the shifty guys NE always signs to exploit rules/matchups.

landry is a stud and would be fantastic next to anderson and enunwa.  love him.

Landry might be a nice fit, but how much do you pay him?  He's not exactly a game breaker.  Not too many WRs fit the phrase 8 yards and a cloud of dust.

I'm not crazy about paying landry. Nice player, way better than any WR we have on the team & is definitely in the higher tier of WR in the league, but he's a little nutty..

Both are fair comments, but we have a ton of cap space and if we pass on/miss out on Cousins, there would still be more than enough money to throw around to improve our OL and some holes on defense.

As nutty as Landry is, he is a gamer and in his prime. The best WR prospect in this years draft is Calvin Ridley who is 23. Jarvis Landry is 25. I would be a little concerned about bringing Landry to NY to be closer to his even nuttier buddy from LSU (Odell), but you know Landry would want to outproduce his former teammate and would want to prove the Fish wrong.

With OBJ his buddy playing in NY with the Giants, I would not be shocked if Landry wanted to play for the Jets, especially if we land Cousins. OBJ & Landry are joined at the hip and from what I've read have always been competitive with each other with one always trying to outdo the other. Landry has the ego to handle NY, and loves the limelight. I would not be shocked to see him in a NY Jet uniform.

Ask Bill Belichick about Landry.  He shat on Belichick’s defenses this season with crap qbs throwing to him
