Maybe Allen’s accuracy issues are due to inconsistent ability to spin the ball, wobbly ass passes

He's pretty accurate when he's not throwing the ball hard.  He may want to consider taking a little bit off on ALL his passes.

I missed most of the first half, but how did Davenport look defending the run.  Is he a legit 3-down defender or just pass rush specialist.

No clue on run play but on a related note but I am impressed by the size and physicality he has. Thought he might be one of those long skinny finesse guys but he’s shown both speed and power

my takes;

Secondaries came to play. Especially the south.

Davenport looks like a guy who shows up with the lights on are - a quality I appreciate

Penny flashed, Ballage too.

WRs are lost out there.

North QBs were playing tecmo. It didn't work.

Brandon Parker just got wasted.

For them maybe, the viewer not so much. Didn’t mean it as a compliment

Lauletta is in. Now this is a non-first QB prospect.

I know it wasn't meant as such but indirectly it was.  When a QB is poised and comfortable, he tends to look like he is playing slow.

Luckily the source of the comment is here to clarify the semantics issue. Definitely not a compliment - moved like he had cement in his shoes.

We'll have to agree to disagree.  While he may not be the most athletic, I think he has some of the best feet and footwork in the class.  I find that impressive considering his limited athleticism and his bigger size.

Allen turned it on in the second half showing off his strong arm, touch passes and ability to complete a pass with a defender dragging him down. If teams liked him before this game, they were reassured by his play in the second half.

I still LOL at posters that keep comparing Allen to Hack. I'm not even a huge Allen fan,  but the kid clearly has a ton of talent and is far and away a better prospect at QB than Hack. One was a reach pick in the 2nd round, the other will be a top 10 pick.

In the little bit I watched when not sleeping thru the whole first half I did hear Terell Davis trying to put up a smokescreen for Denver. He said, from what he’s heard Josh Allen is the guy for Denver. Sounded like total BS

interesting you should bring that up... i wasn't sure if it was the complete opposite. He was dismissing the Mayfied stuff and talking Allen.... I wonder where Elway sits after getting snake bitten by Paxton -- feels his priority would be 1a Kirk Cousins, 1b Mayfield

Lumping him next to Hackenberg probably isn't fair to Allen... but when you've been endured the Hack-attack and his accuracy issues, one can't be surprised if the fanbase is not feeling it when another QB who's had well-documented problems with consistency/accuracy.

Nicely done Lauletta and LSU WR who keeps getting open

Looking at Lauletta wouldn’t be surprised if he had the highest spin rate among today’s QBs (outside of Mayfield who is tight consistently). That lends to things like accuracy and touch.

I know nothing about this guy but he throws a really nice ball.
