What Will Go Down in the Superbowl?

Nearly all here are sick of the Pats.

Sick of the media's obsession with them, sick of the bologna notion of their amazing character (The Patriot Way), sick of the somehow continuing idea of Brady as the underdog (despite being a star for the last 20 years and having 5 rings LOL), sick of their cheating, sick of the officiating biases, etc

Here's my biggest issue, however:

I feel that it is already written in stone that

--the Pats will benefit from a couple of penalties that are very questionable being called in their faavor

--the Pats will benefit from a couple of obvious penalties not being called against them

--the Pats will be down in the 4th quarter. And it will once again come down to whether or not the Pats offense can stir up yet another "magical comeback"

So what do you think will be the game flow on Sunday? For example, the Jags came out firing the ball off Play Action and had success, were able to run the ball and got a nice lead early. However, Jags got conservative, Pats shut down the running lanes and Jags stopped throwing. Pats made a few nice plays, benefitted from some BS calls and non-calls and voila got the come from being win.

What will go down in the SB? Will there actually be a decently officiated game? Will the amazing Pats actually be able to get out in front and assert their dominance on their own? Will it be more of the same?

I agree that some bullsh*t call will go the Pats way and be critical in deciding the outcome. I also think Foles will have a bad game and his mojo runs out. Anytime you give BB & Co 2 weeks to prepare it usually doesn't go well for the team they are preparing for. I think Philly's pass rush keeps them in it but the Pats win it late. Pats 30 Eagles 21.

Football season is over. This is an obligation that in a way is like a holiday you no longer care about, but have to attend to.

The money, no home crowd, slow pace, ridiculous half time show, media etc, ruins any hope of a real football game. Commercials could be interesting though.

Now if the Jets were in it, this would be a different story ...

Whats going down?

Booze

Food

More booze

More food

Absurd calls by the refs at critical junctures.

Laughing like crazy because hey our team isnt in it so screw it.

Eagles CS doing inexplicably stupid stuff ala Falcons or Sea Hawks to throw the game away even though they are close or leading.

More booze and food more laughs turn it off as soon as game is over to avoid looking at BB gloating and then seeing if any of our boxes made money.

Pats will win a close game. Not sure if it will be the Pats defense that holds the Eagles off at the end to win (like they did against the Jags) or if it will be Brady putting together a drive that wins the game. But I think Pats win by 4 and hopefully ride off into the sunset forever, although I'm not holding my breath.

I don't think Pats-leaning penalties will make an impact in the game. At All.

Eagles Oline has been playing very well. Jeffery & Agholor are a handful & Torry Smith can still get deep, Blount & Ajayi are bruisers when they play at 110%, two good TEs in Burton & Celek. Pederson thinks offensively so they'll attack the Pats weaknesses on defense too. Eagles D line needs to hit Brady & hit him hard.

The NFL is well aware of the backlash in the media by NFL viewers & the feeling that the Jags were screwed as are any team facing the Pats. It was talked about incessantly since last Sunday and memes are inundating social media. I expect this game to be officiated right down the middle & come down to the wire. Hopefully the Eagles will be able keep it close & run on and wear down the Pats defense in the 4th quarter. Kelse, Brooks & Johnson are very good lineman, Wisneiewski is no slouch either.

27-10 NE.  NE will have 2 weeks to look at film of Foles and the RPO.  MVP will be someone on the defensive side of the ball.  NE will of course get more than one questionable PI and/or defensive holding calls go their way on 3rd down.

PHI by plenty. Haven't seen anything impressive from NE for weeks. The win over the Jags was all a defensive effort, the Titans a no show. Jags are on the rise but the Eagles are there now.

Brady ends his career 5-3 in SBs. He'll be back next year and maybe beyond but won't post any further playoff wins.

I have no idea because I won't be watching, Why is it that the Jets have 2 teams in their division who have been to like 20% of every Super Bowl ever played?

I'm not sure I want to watch either.  I probably will though.
