nycdan
I'll say it. I would be totally on board if Macc traded for Foles. Hard to see him being happy backing up Wentz next season. He's worth a lot in terms of trade value even with just 1 year left on his contract. I wouldn't trade our 1st rounder, but I would part with one of our 2nd rounders for him. The guy was clutch. LionelRichie
Foles played a great game but he wasn't touched and had all day to throw. The big takeaway from the super bowl is build a dominant OL and you can win with a mediocre QB.

Granted, he hasn't done much in the regular season this year but he was great through the entire playoffs. Pretty good pass catcher too!

Mo Lew
It's not Foles as much as Pederson...guy called an outstanding game and used Foles strengths. If Bates is our OC I'm not sure Foles would be worth it.

shuler82
I’ve always liked Foles. You need to build the team around him but he’s a lot cheaper than Cousins
HawkeyeJet
I've been saying it for awhile now, and I think the outcome tonight helps validate it some. Its more about a coach than get the best out of a QB than the QB himself. Hopefully Bates is a coach like that.

He'll def be part of the conversation now for the 5-6 QB needy teams. Could bring down Cousins' offers. Not sure but the demand has shifted a bit. Foles to Denver would make a ton of sense though. You'd think he's more of an Elway guy being the bigger, stronger arm type

MaxAF
Foles had a great game. MVP of the SB. So next year he rides the pine behind the "franchise" QB. Hmmm

Reynolds1029
The Eagles are the 2010 Jets. Mediocre QB but great OL that gives him time to throw to open targets and a great defense that got to Brady. Mark Sanchez beat the Patriots and played like a star. Now he is 3rd string QB for the Bears....

detectivekimble
Foles is like Matt Cassel. Catch a glimpse of him every now and then and you think he's good and he might even have a good season here and there. But he is not a good QB. nycdan
No problem with doubting him. I'm not really sure either. But they guy has thrown 8 TDs vs. 1 INT in his playoff career and that INT (tonight) was definitely NOT his fault either. Maybe it is much about Pederson and the OL and some good RB play but Foles at least showed he can win big games with his arm (and his hands) when the team needs him to. That's pretty much a major step up from what we have had for a long time. Honestly, I'm fine if it's Cousins, or Foles, or a rookie. But for me, Foles is in the discussion now. If DEN goes for him, that's great too. For now I'm just going to glow a bit.

20andOut
Gotta disagree. Feel like half of Foles's throws were high arcing "jump balls" that his recievers just went up and got for him.

PS17
Forget Foles. He would be awful here. We need competent offensive coaching, a good offensive line, and skill players in addition to a QB.
