Forget Cousins - Trade for Foles

I'll say it.  I would be totally on board if Macc traded for Foles.  Hard to see him being happy backing up Wentz next season.  He's worth a lot in terms of trade value even with just 1 year left on his contract.  I wouldn't trade our 1st rounder, but I would part with one of our 2nd rounders for him.  The guy was clutch.

Foles played a great game but he wasn't touched and had all day to throw.   The big takeaway from the super bowl is build a dominant OL and you can win with a mediocre QB.

I don't think it's fair to call him mediocre.  Granted, he hasn't done much in the regular season this year but he was great through the entire playoffs.  Pretty good pass catcher too!

This is the kind of thinking that makes a team give Joe Flacco a billion dollars.

I think he should be part of the conversation. Why not?

hopefully the Broncos make a run at Foles!

Yeah. He'll def be part of the conversation now for the 5-6 QB needy teams. Could bring down Cousins' offers. Not sure but the demand has shifted a bit. Foles to Denver would make a ton of sense though. You'd think he's more of an Elway guy being the bigger, stronger arm type

Nelson.  But let's not forget we still have Bowles.

Foles is like Matt Cassel.  Catch a glimpse of him every now and then and you think he's good and he might even have a good season here and there.  But he is not a good QB.

Yeah....sh*tty QB's throw 3 TD's and over 350 yards in the Super Bowl and beat Tom Brady to be voted MVP.

Wish we had a sh*tty guy like this..

No problem with doubting him.  I'm not really sure either.  But they guy has thrown 8 TDs vs. 1 INT in his playoff career and that INT (tonight) was definitely NOT his fault either.  Maybe it is much about Pederson and the OL and some good RB play but Foles at least showed he can win big games with his arm (and his hands) when the team needs him to.  That's pretty much a major step up from what we have had for a long time.  Honestly, I'm fine if it's Cousins, or Foles, or a rookie.  But for me, Foles is in the discussion now.  If DEN goes for him, that's great too.

For now I'm just going to glow a bit.

He's a mediocre QB, dude.  He had a good game (against a sh*tty defense).  No one is taking that away from him.  But mediocre QBs have good games all the time.

Winner Winner chicken dinner. Get Cousins. Draft Quenton Nelson and Billy Price. Don’t look back.

Gotta disagree. Feel like half of Foles's throws were high arcing "jump balls" that his recievers just went up and got for him.

No way in hell he threaded the needle many times in that game into double and triple coverage, what game were you watching.
