Congrats To Bill Belichick

In all fairness, they lost two games that they should won. Wes Welker drops a crucial pass that would have iced the game, and David Tyree pulls a catch out his anus.

Edit - I have responded multiple times to this. He lost two games he should have won, and won two games he should have lost. It all equals out. His record still would be 5-3 and still a 3 times loser.

On becoming the 6th coach to lose 3 Superbowls (even though it should've been 5).

Bill Belichick and his sh*tty defense couldn't be bailed out by Brady again.  Such an overrated coach.  It's a DISGRACE for you to lose when your HoF QB throws for 500+ yards and the other team is playing its backup QB.

In all fairness a team couldn't have dreamed of catching as many breaks as the cheats since the tuck-rule

And won two games they should have lost - Pete Carroll not running beast mode and 28-3 Atlanta

Yeah, evens out in the end.

You could just as easily argue they won a few they should have lost.

I think that was his point, that they more or less balance out.

The Pats probably lost two Superbowls that they should have won (the first Giants game being a particularly brutal way to lose) and they probably won two that they should have lost.

I still can't get over what Atlanta did last year. It was just so absurd. Atlanta wins that game 999 out of 1,000 times.

But maybe they won some games they should have lost too? There's usually a play or two in a superbowl that makes or breaks the game. Some went their way, some didn't.

The Pats have not won a Superbowl in the last 13 years that was not just handed to them by the other team.

I would love to see the total penalties against in regards to the Pats & the opposition for every Super Bowl season including the playoff games leading to the Super Bowl.

Probably be pretty interesting starting with the tuck rule game BS that led to their 1st SB win. Nothing but bullsh*t in so many instances. If that idiot Head Coach for Atlanta just used the game clock a few times the Pats would have 4 SB losses.

It should tell you something when the mumbles after the game were about calls supposedly not going for the Pats, after they went the entire game with 1 penalty for 5 yards.

the tuck rule was the proper call as frustrating as it was.

Most good teams aren't penalized as much but I will try to find post that info tomorrow.

In all fairness, they won two games that they should've lost. Pete Carroll doesn't coach like an idiot and Quinn doesn't decide to throw all the time with his team up big.

Pats Oline was blatantly holding the entire game, never called once.  Clear PI in endzone on failed 2 pt conversion late, not called.  It's bizarre how longstanding the preferential treatment is.

The man has a resume matched by almost noone.

Bashing him is like bashing eddie van halens guitar playing on an off night.

I would love to see the all 22 of both the Jags game + this Eagles game. 2 of the best front 7 defenses, going against a bunch of NO NAMES other than Solder. Not 1 holding call, NONE! It's total bullsh*t and no one can convince me it's not done to protect the NFLs poster boy Tom Brady. Fletcher Cox, Brandon Graham, Chris Long, Jernigan, Curry, Barnett, than the Jaguars Calais Campbell, Dante Fowler, Malik Jackson.

If this doesn't tell you the Jets need to start building a damn offense with some freaking studs I dont know what to tell you. Brady just broke a Super Bowl record by throwing for 505 yards & 3 TDs vs what EVERYBODY called the best & deepest Dline in the NFL!

So, if they Jets keep drafting defensive players & paying bums like Mo Wilkerson 17.5 million, we'll always be the losers we're perceived to be. The Eagles secondary was below average & with the refs not calling holding the supposed best D in the NFC goes down in the record books for giving up 505 passing yards & still won, lol. Is Bowles paying any attention to this new NFL that's been flipped on its head?

Exactly.  Pretty much everyone is just shocked that the game wasn't handed to the Pats on a silver platter, so the ultimately less significant blunders (given the outcome) are disregarded.
