Is it time for new Jets Logo? Ideas (serious or reflective of our karma)?

helmets, shirts etc, a new official Jets logo. We've had several over years, come back and re-used old ones etc. With current drought of playoff appearances is it time?

A serious logo idea welcomed and maybe a logo to reflect the Jet karma since Super Bowl III?

You guys know where I stand... BRING IT BACK.  Put the current logo on the sleeve/shoulders and do a retro refresh.

I think a green matte finish helmet might look kinda cool. We really do have a pretty good logo and I wouldnt want to add in another color to our scheme either.

I love our unis. The only thing I'd want is a couple '80s throwbacks per year

Jets branding is, and has always been, pretty ugh. Our all-white uniform is a thing of beauty. That said, given that “Jets” is an antiquated concept it would be cool to see it reinvigorated with new meaning and a uniform strategy similar to some of the exciting college programs.

Would piss off all the miserable old-timers too. Win-win.

I thought our unis looked fantastic this year (better than I can ever remember) but I fully agree that we should have some 1980's throwbacks.

I wish they would combine the current logo with the 80's version.

Keep the current font, have the 80's jet shoot across and maybe make the green a little brighter (the color rush green is a starting place)

The team has a great look it just needs a touch up here or there.

I get a lot of the fanbase is much older then me on these forums (I’m 19), but I’m sick of people always wanting to go back to retro, or the 80’s. Maybe for a Sunday/Monday night game and that’s it. I want to see a uniform and logo that’s completely modern and new. Keep the green and white of course, but maybe add a 3rd corlornlike grey or black. Keep the logo, but take it off the helmet and put something else on. And no, not the 80’s Jets logo. Let it ******* die already.

I think Nike made some tweaks to the fabrics or something so the green looked much better this year than at any point since Nike took over in 2011.

I really like that first one. But damn those Jerseys would be ugly if they weren’t designed perfectly. Who are we? The Milwaukee Bucks?

This can be a Jets playing great Logo (Teams get swallowed by the Jet Wormhole) or a bad Logo if team sucks (the life cycle of a Jets Fan, eventually you are swallowed into nothingness)

I feel like the logo is fine. However, I wouldn't mind a color adjustment to the green and a tweak to the uniforms for a more modern look. I would keep an all white look as a standard. I also would be okay with adding a 3rd color as an accent.

I would just tell the Johnson boys to let Nike show 2 or 3 options but they need to be a bit conservative as far as the design. Lets see what they come up with. It can't hurt.

I also love the all white unifs. I would get rid of the green pants however. I never liked those and they remind me of Bruce Coslet who should be forgotten forever. I wouldn't mind a game or two in the 80's uniform. Can't stand those color rush things.

I didn't love the green pants in the 90s b/c we never won.  I did like Parcells getting rid of them during his time here, I think we brought them back in 2002 but we have had some big wins wearing green pants including the biggest win in franchise history outside of the 1968 season so they have grown on me.
