Not sure why he has any fondness for the 1998 AFC Championship Game loss to Denver

Did he have a fondness, or was it his most disappointing.  As he said we were leading Denver at halftime pretty significantly, then fumbled away the game.  He felt that if he had made it through Denver, the Jets would have had a good chance against Atlanta.  To take the Jets from 1 and 15 to the a Super Bowl win would have been magnificent.

For me that was a fun season right till the end.  I dream of the day we make it past the AFCCG to the Super Bowl.  That'll be special.

I wish the Jets had given Leon the "Weekend at Bernie's" treatment. Belichick would've stuck around and it would be us defending Tom Brady's hetero credentials and calling out Miami and Pats fans' sour grapes over their sore loser griping over how we won our many rings.

we were leading 3-0 at halftime, we took a 10-0 lead in the 3rd qtr then Denver immediately came back and in a few minutes the game was tied.

we turned it over 6 times I believe and missed a chip shot FG.  it was incredibly windy that day but should have been made.

We gave that game away.
