Going to pursue.  Probably comes down to us, SF, and Chicago.

I know you can't give specifics, but has the Senior Bowl and Combine
changed our QB rankings?

The #Jets haven’t budged from their 2-year, $8m offer to Austin Seferian-Jenkins, which was put on the table before season ended. Still interest on both sides to get something done, but sounds like he’ll hit free agency. Risky move for NYJ. Seferian-Jenkins will be coveted.

Don't get sentimental in negotiations.  Just because we finally used the TE position last year

doesn't mean Seferian-Jenkins was Antonio Gates in his prime.  There are others on the market

and we still have Leggett coming back from injury

If we do sign Cousins to a three year deal people should realize that a contract

of that length would allow us to draft a QB at #6

Any Jet fans have interest in Jeremiah Attaochu? Problem with Jerry is injuries. He is still just 24 years old and has 10 sacks and 20 tackles for loss in 34 games. So looks to be a productive edge player.

Here's someone who has done their research.  Definitely worth the investment, I

loved him coming out of Ga. Tech

Will be interesting to see who we pick up on the OLine because Jensen (BAL),

Long (WSH) and Pugh (NYG) are still out there

Meanwhile the giants don't seem to know what they're doing. They took a bad offensive line and made it significantly worse.

Then added a slow, past his prime RB.....

Spot on.  Maccagnan had me so ticked off earlier I couldn't enjoy the moronic moves the NYG made

About the center position, remember it's about how the player fits with the zone blocking

scheme Bates/Dennison are going to be implementing

I love how people complain about not making any moves and wanting to make moves even if it means overpaying....and so we do exactly that and people still cry, b*tch and moan. STFU.

Preach, preacher!!!

Johnson is one of the worst corners in the league?! Where's this coming from?

It comes from the lazy and simplistic review of PFF stats and swearing that they are the true

measure of a player

Rams are paying less for Peters and Talib duo than we are paying for only Trumaine Johnson

So what.  Talib is over 30 and making over $10 million and Peters is still on his rookie contract

And before the "Negative Nellies" jump in to say why is ARZ cutting him if he's so
good?  The reason is their new HC (Wilks) is coming from CAR were he ran a zone based
coverage scheme in their secondary.  Mathieu is best in a press man coverage scheme
were he can float around and cover anybody.  And Bowles designed his position when
he was ARZ DC back in 2013

Beat writers are assuming we won’t be. Not saying. Most aren’t seeing the point in him.

That just shows how out of touch they are with actually watching the team they cover.  Just

like too many of the "fans" on the board

Former Jets linebacker Demario Davis expected to sign with the New Orleans Saints per source. Deal is 3 years, $24 million, $18 million in guaranteed

Good for him.  He's from the South so he'll be close to home

What happened with Santos? I thought he was a pretty good consistent kicker for the Chiefs. Did he get hurt or something??

Hurt his groin before the season

Eagles are releasing DL Vinny Curry, source says. Unable to find an agreement on a pay cut.

Curry's more of a "name" than anything, his production has been very light and
he's going to be 30:

Former Seahawks’ and Jets’ DT Sheldon Richardson reached agreement on a one-year deal with the Minnesota Vikings, per source.

Amazing how his stock has fallen, I thought he would've been a beast with SEA last year

Jaguars are releasing WR Allen Hurns, per source. Strong market expected for him.

Very surprising thankfully we have a lot of cap space left, he should be a priority

E.J. Gaines - DB - Free Agent
Free agent CB E.J. Gaines is scheduled to visit the Jets on Thursday and Browns on Friday.

Related: Browns, Jets

I'm shocked he's coming in for a visit, after Claiborne I figured we were done in

the secondary

Gaines would probably meet with our DB coach (Dennard Wilson) and Hurns would meet

with our WR coach (Dorrell)

Good analysis!!!  He really hasn't dominated since DET but it would be interesting to

see him in tandem with Williams

The Giants cut ties with Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie this spring, leaving a void as far as experience, depth and ability at the nickel-back role. They made a move Thursday to fill that hole, signing William Gay, an 11-year veteran who, at 33, is actually two years older than Rodgers-Cromartie.

NYG have deluded themselves that they went 13-3 last year instead of 3-13.  It's

amazing how many 30+ year old free agents they've signed.  To me it indicates they

aren't going to pick a QB, they'll want someone who can contribute immediately

Why don’t they expect it..? What I am i missing here?

Probably because he visited and didn't get signed immediately.  I don't buy it

the same thing happened to Swanson and Pryor they both left then signed

later

Probably this dumb exchange is the reason:

Rich CiminiVerified account @RichCimini

Good player, but not a great fit as a DE (5 technique). They’d have to use him in other ways.

Do you believe Jonathan Hankins would be a good fit for this defense? #jetsmail
