Release:

DL - Mo Wilkerson

RB - Matt Forte

OL - Ben Ijalana

Resign:

WR - Quincy Enunwa

TE - ASJ

CB - Morris Claiborne

DE - Kon Ealey

ILB - Demario Davis

Sign:

QB - Kirk Cousins

C - Travis Swanson

OT - Chris Hubbard

WR - Bruce Ellington

OLB - Dee Ford

CB - Vontae Davis

Draft:

1. OLB - Bradley Chubb

2. RB - Nick Chubb

2. CB - Nick Nelson

3. DL - De-Shawn Hand

4. WR - Marcel Ateman

5. CB - Jordan Thomas

6. OLB - Andrew Trumbetti

7. OL - Jake Bennet

Probably unrealistic - I am hopeful Kirk could be good enough, with a strong run game & elite defense - to take us to the promise land. Land some veterans on OL & Ellington would give some nice depth at the slot. I think Dee Ford & Vontae Davis will come cheaper than people realize, both underperformed lately, and Davis has had injury issues but is still just 30 & I think our training staff could get a good 2-3 seasons out of him. Having a healthy Davis & Claiborne could be deadly. As far as draft I would go BPA.

1. I just threw myself down the stairs after positing this scenario.

2. Why, in all of these, are you bros so insistent on signing Kony Ealy?

Lol Mayfield, and Sanchez did Max pay you to post this?  Only thing it’s missing is Chad Pennington, and Kirk Cousins.

Because by all accounts Sanchez was a terrific leader in the Bears locker room last year, and who better to teach Mayfield about managing that pretty party-boy life in NYC than Mark?

Whats more disturbing is every time someone has an opinion a thread is started, it isn't like there isn't 15 others where this could have been added.

Carry on.

Mayfield looking at his left shoulder and listening to  ? McCown argue with Devil horned Mark Sanchez on his right shoulder trying to figure out if he should go bang (insert latest Disney TV star), or watch film.

McCown: Hey, Bake. Let’s go grind tape.

Mayfield: Alright.

Sanchez: And also don’t go to Momofuko with your side bitch. The maitre d is a snitch.

Because then he can be a brilliant diamond-in-the-rough find and not just some scrapheap rando who filled a roster spot for a season.

On a related note, how much would you pay a receiver who had three TDs and averaged 7 yards per reception?

hint: no, it’s not a lumbering fullback

I like this generally, but I think if they sign Jensen they may be able to trade down slightly in round 2 and still pick up one of the better RBs.

Cousins aside, i think you were somewhat realistic in your approach. There's gonna be compromises, there always is.

2 thoughts; Enunwa is a big question mark, i think the team has to bring in someone proven. Might not be an bonafide allstar, but we gotta bring a body in. Secondly, not crazy about B Chubb - think he's overrated. And that's too high for Nick Chubb. He's good, but there's better options that early in the 2nd. Way better.
