Draft Offers - What would you take for our 1st Round Pick?

What would you take for Number 6? What do you think we could realistically get offered?

 

I'd like to see us trade away some late round picks to try to get a an extra offensive guy in the 2nd

It all depends but something that falls relatively in line with the trade chart. And this is all assuming we sign Cousins and therefore have no need to take a QB at 6.

Depends on a lot.

if we have Cousins I would like to move down for premium picks in the case that a blue chip prospect is gone.

If we miss out on Cousins then you do every thing in your power to move up for the top 3 QB’s.

I would trade #6 overall for a middle-of-first round and two 2nd Round picks.  Especially if we sign Cousins, but even if we don't.

We'd have a 1st and 4 2nd's. 

That's two new young starting O-Linemen, a RB, a WR and a backup/prospect QB (Falk, Rudolph).

I like Mayfield, so I can live with him at #6.  

But signing Cousins is the ebst thing we can do for this franchise, purely based on turning draft assets into more player prospects to rebuild this roster with.

The DRAFT is something you build a winning team with unfortunately the way this team drafts it hasn't happened in 49 years. 

Stay put with the 6th pick and hope you pick a cant miss player with the odds being higher.

Depends on FA and who is available at 6.  Would like a deal to include a 2019 1st rd pick, value that higher than 2018 2nd.  In part because of Jets history with 2d rd picks, and in part because we should be willing to take a long view.

I’d package the sixth overall pick and Darron Lee in exchange for the seventh overall pick.

If I had to guess, if there is a QB there that someone wants they would pay more for than the Value Chart value, and if there is not they probably pay a tad less.  

FWIW, the Bills would have to pay more than their 2 first round picks to move up to 6.

Do we really think that the Jets end up with better players when they draft high in the first round than when they draft in the lower half of the round?

If Barkey or Chubb drop, I'd take one of them @ 6.

If we sign Cousins, I'd trade down for multiple picks this year. 

If neither scenario is possible, I'd settle for Quenton Nelson.

I would entertain Buffalos 2 ones, depending on FA and who falls to 6.
