Indeed some positive notes here and a few reasons for optimism.  But we are Jet fans so someone needs to splash some cold water on this.  I guess my number got called today.

1. Young Robby Anderson was also 1st in the NFL in outstanding traffic warrants

3. Not hard to beat the spread when you're double-digit dogs almost every week because...well...Jets.

5. We had three healthy Safeties most of the year.  Not really surprising that the two best, who happened to be rookies, played all the snaps.

6. Are we really celebrating that our ILB led the team in sacks?  With 5?  Really?

7. Yay...we had a player who didn't get injured.  Parade Sunday at 4pm.

11.  Ah....losing close games.  The gold standard in the Todd Bowles clubhouse.

Anderson is who we drafted Devin smith to be too bad he is a total dunder  head.  Why do all the talented players have to be total knobs and all the good character players have to be knife boar hunting unauthentic lugs?

Powell is one of these guys  that seems to get nicked up just when he is ready ti assume the full load of a starter.  Having said that he has been our best back by a lot the last 2 years and only morons would have had forte ahead of him.

The spread is meaningless, it is a Bowles stat, i would rather be close than have balls to win.

I feel sorry for williams, having a total lazy dog on the other side of him who could be blocked by a 7th rounder from west tuskegge state while he faces double teams all game and having a sh*tty coach  that can't figure out that if you have a dominant d player you move him around to find the other teams weak link.

Adams was indeed good at stopping the run.  too bad this is a passing league and you just used a 6th overall pick on an in the box runs stopper.

Davis played great and it was a surprise.  Do NOT assume he will do this the next 3 years and give him a fat contract.

Beachum played better than expected, shell one weak was listed as a top performer the next week as god awful.  I cannot judge him.  In any case our oline is like a house of cards that could fall apart at any moment.

I don't like our kicker, he was sh*tty in zona and was okay here last year but can he kick 50 yarders in the rain?  I thought not.

Edwards was very good and i assume the new special teams guy last year just said kick the heck out of ball instead of trying to plaice it at 40 yards.

Sorry to pee on your parade - here are my 12 Negative NY Jets Stats 2017

1 Our boom ba ya #6 pick in draft safety didn’t notch a single interception. ?

2 Our OL nearly got Petty killed and our ‘starter’ injured with a broken hand. ?

3 Robbie Anderson was arrested....again.❗️

4 we only won 5 games.....again.❗️

5 Our tinnie winnie LB didn’t grow an inch even though there was hope he was still in the growing phase. ?

6 Mac and Cheese were given 2 year extensions on top of their existing contracts. Still scratching my head.

? &?

7 Buster Skrine cemented himself as the worst CB in football. ?

8 Our TE has a better future in the circus as a juggler than as our TE. ?

9 Our OC is history, even though he had more success than many in recent regimes. ?

10 Hackenburg has become an all pro at Madden while on the sidelines AGAIN for the entire season. ?

11 We changed our strategy from Never give up to, quit while you’re behind. ?

12 We blew a golden opportunity to tank and grab the franchise QB we haven’t had since Joe Namath. ?

Other than that it was a great year ?
