It seems Robby Anderson isn’t the only Jets player who is reportedly making mind-numbignly dumb decisions this off-season.

Darryl Slater of NJ advanced media is reporting that Donahue was arrested for a DWI in the Lincoln tunnel in the early hours of the morning when he drove his car in to oncoming traffic and collided with another vehicle that was carrying 15 passengers, four of whom suffered minor injuries.

Donahue, a rookie linebacker who spent most of last season on injured reserve becomes the second Jets player arrested this off-season, following wide receiver Robby Anderson who picked up his second arrest of the season just a few weeks ago for multiple traffic violations.

If I recall he had issues before he was drafted.

He did, but supposedly he fixed them.  He looks like a boozer.  That is why he ended up at low tier schools.  He admitted as much.

The PA is going to throw the book at him.  You can’t be driving drunk in tunnels.   This could have been worse.  If he hits car he kills somebody.

Robby Anderson gets used for his last year.  Donahue gets cut.

What issues were a concern before the draft? I don't remember seeing anything.

And his passenger arrested for being an ass hole at the scene.  Cut his ass

Did you stop to think that his passenger was pissed because they were going in the right direction and everybody else were going in the wrong direction ?

He is old for his age.  Partied his way out of getting recruited from HS.

It is not unusual for HS football players to party.  To party your way out of being recruited is an accomplishment.

You would have thought by now that he would grow up. Guess not.

I'd love to see where our hit rate is for these 4th and lower round guys in the Idzik/Macc era. I know the expectations there are low-low-low with success, but seriously, I can't remember a single a$$hole this team has taken in the later rounds, except McGuire who looked as JAGish as possible last year.

Imagine drafting players who are unathletic, but who are also idiots. Tough to do.

It's actually incredible. Nearly impossible to do at the pro-level. Be sh*tty at sports and life, and have a job in the NFL.

The answer is Enunwa, though people around here love Burris, Shell and Simon.

Surprising thing to me is that more of the Idzik guys are kicking around the league than Maccagnan's.  Aboushi, Dozier, Bohanon, Dixon, Reilly and even George are still hanging on to varying levels.
