Should teams be allowed to trade "Cap Space"?

I don't see why it can't be a commodity available to be traded.  Imagine a team that is up against the cap makes a trade with the Jets for $10 million of cap space.  That would add another level to the trading landscape.  Imagine this was allowed for future years too?  Like "the Jets have traded 2 1st round picks and $10 million in 2020 cap space for the #1 overall pick in 2018" (not that the Browns need cap space but you get the idea).

This was basically the Osweiler trade.  The Browns got an extra pick to take Osweiler’s cap space.

And people wonder why Mac’s former boss Rick Smith was fired there.

One time I was at a party in Fishkill, NY drinking 99 Bananas and someone slipped me a Percocet and I woke up in my car the next day in Cos Cob, Connecticut parked behind a 7-11 and I had no shoes.

Was your underwear turned inside out with a blood stain?

Defeats the purpose of having a salary cap.

Best scenario would be to have it like NBA does. Start charging outrageous luxury tax if u go over.
