I said this about the QB position a while ago and my stance hasn't changed.  I don't necessarily care who it is, because i can't guess anymore who will hit and who will miss.  I just want to get behind someone who will be more than a 1 year stop gap.

I'm jumping in with both feet for Cousins, Mayfield, Rosen, Allen or Darnold.

That said, I do think Darnold has serious red flags, and wouldn't be as highly regarded if people hadn't pounded the table so hard for his potential greatness prior to this previous college season.

Wouldn’t it be nice if we could all just do this...get Behind whatever we do and just support the team ?

I'd take him but prefer Rosen or Mayfield. I just want to see us take someone so we have a chance at a franchise quarterback.

Then you should also want Josh Allen. But let me guess since he didn't execute a certain percentage of completion he's useless?

Being able to complete passes is like the most important thing for a QB. Josh Allen's accuracy issue is too much to ignore.

It's less of an accuracy issue, that something thats way over blown. It's an execution issue. I won't blame it 100% on his receivers or Allen himself but some where in the middle.

Going to be doing polls with all of the top QB prospects. Josh Rosen is next.

We don’t get to “ be ok “ with whatever rookie falls to us. It’s very likely atleast 1 of the 4 will be there when we pick 6. It would be any 1 of the 4, or 2 of them.

In that2017 Rose Bowl against Penn State he looked all world. Looked like he regressed some this year but maybe he was just trying to do too much.

I would hope that the vote would be just about the same whether you asked about Rosen/Mayfield and even Allen. We don't pick first (and may not even be able to trade up to the top 2 if the Browns/Giants want QBs), so we can't just take whichever QB we want and each of these guys should, at the very least, give us some hope going forward.

Im not really comfortable drafting a USC qb. Also I've never been impressed by him. He's not a bad QB but I have to admit that last years over hype of Sam was indeed overblown and made me even more critical of him entering this season. Dude did not live up to all of the hype. It wasnt as bad as the Matt Barkley hype in comparison, but I simply never got that feeling when watching him. Seems like he was more of the media hype engine qb after the Rose bowl.

He'll probably go on to have a great career, no one really knows

Agree. Macc has to take a swing and go for it. It will at least give Jets fans something they haven't had in awhile: something to look forward to.
