none of those things are true. But you earned a chuckle.

here's a fact they have 90 million dollars in cap space and can't keep any of their own FA.

Too lazy to check but preeeeetty sure no one's outspent the Jets in FA the past twenty years.

That last sentence isn't a fact. They absolutely can keep their own FAs, they all just suck. Enunwa and the kicker are the only FAs I even want them considering bringing back.

They’re apparently in talks with Keenum and Bradford. If they bring in either one them I don’t think they’ll trade up for a QB. They could use the extra picks.

I heard theyre interested in McCarren

You’re just gonna live and die with the 6>12 thing, I see.

You're offering me zero reason to think otherwise. Is 12 better than 6 in this case lol?  Also:

That WC loss with the third oldest roster in the league seems totally worth it for allll those high picks they don't have.

sh*t...sorry...They have 2 top 50s to the Jets' 3, still 0 to the Jets 1 top ten.

I would agree. It's gotten them worst draft picks, less cap space, and an older plus more expensive roster. Color me wholly unimpressed. I keep going back to the Cubs fans who momentarily thought the Brewers were a thing last summer.

How do you figure the Bills have 1 top-50 pick?

They also have a young up and coming Offensive minded HC who can coach up a rookie QB.  We have Todd Bowles.

Please stop, did you watch BUF at all this year?  McDermott isn't an offensive minded coach (he was

CAR DC) and did you see what he did to Peterman his rookie QB?

And wait, I missed that before, but the Jets are the Cubs now?

The Cubs weren't today's Cubs until October 2016 after a second+ of losing, but the comp is easily more apt between the Brewers and the Bills. Two teams that exceeded expectations, still didn't do sh*t, have weak draft position (Cubs have 4-5 picks in the top 100 this year, Brewers have 2-3, done the Jets/Bills), less financial flexibility, and still aren't even all that young or good for all their efforts....

So is 12 > 6 still in this draft?

If four quarterbacks go in the first five picks, then six may as well be twelve.

It speaks to what a nonentity that franchise is that like two people here know who their HC without Google. I legit thought Marrone lol

Which neither answers the question nor explains how the Bills' inferior draft capital will get them into that top 5.

If the Bills want to be in the top five of the draft, they can do so. If the Jets want to be in the top five of the draft, they can also do so. Yesterday you were saying the Bills wouldn’t be able to get into the top five at all because both of their picks were in the twenties. Today, they have a pick at 12. Things change. Most people would rather be playing with the Bills hand today than the Jets hand. Including you, considering you wouldn’t answer that very question before. Also, is Jamal Adams the Kris Bryant in your scenario?

Come on...12 > 6 AND ='s them moving into the top 5?

I much prefer the Jets' hand. Better draft position, more money, younger roster, cheaper roster....Literally all the things you're pretending the Vaunted Bills alredy have except money, which doesn't play into the draft and doesn't have real value anyway.

Ah yes. All that money to throw at........Orleans Darkwa and Benson Mayowa. The League trembles at the buying power of The Central Bank of Florham Park.

I hate them with a passion but the Bills can easily move up to the top 5. Easier I think than we can. 12+22 would cover it.

I agree, after trading Tyrod, I suspect the Bills know that no one actually wants to play in Buffalo and they are going to try to trade up (maybe with the Browns at #4?) to get their QB.

SERIOUSLY ?

But doesn't beat 6, a future first, two top 50s, a top 75....I really wish we'd stop working so hard to make the Bills a thing. They're just in a better position to land the 4th best QB right now.

If they aren't going to trade up further, what explanation do you have for them trading up to 12 in the blind?

They're definitely not done.

It wasn't blind but wholly predictable, which I did two days ago. Texans got to 12 for Watson with their 20s pick, that was about the ceiling.

Three years later, and you still can't say this about the Jets.

I mean you can, just we choose to wallow in misery porn. I mean literally I just had a back and forth with someone trying to convince me that the 12th spot is better than the 6th spot for a trade up, that two top 50 picks are better than three for a trade up, and that having the most money has no value (a consistent insistence here for some reason).

Edit: Not only that - all those not better things are better AND were an actual, well thought out, fully executed plan to get into the top 5.

It is "blind" because they have no idea who is available at 12.  Most times when a team trades to 12, they do it when 12 is on the clock.  Not a month and a half before the draft.

What is the Jets "plan?"  Cousins or bust?
