QB: Bradford to Arizona - Who next?

The Jets don’t have to sign anyone. It’s probably better if they don’t. Identify the best QB in the draft, use your resources to go get him, bulk up the offensive line, get him a few new toys in the draft, and see what he’s made of. Signing a broken retread is not a way forward. It’s a way to the side or backwards.

I've always, always, always been fine with bringing back McCown and drafting one of "the four".  Bradford, McCarron, Keenum, Bridgwater - they're all looking to start.  McCown knows his role.  He's a vet presence this year, QB coach the following year.

To me, this "Plan B" was always better then throwing big money at "Plan K".

When Baker Mayfield makes his first start week 6 against Kirk and the Vikings and leads us to victory...you'll all come back to me to remind me just how right I was.

Who the **** is Michael Pallas - other then some two-bit blogger who's opinion is no more informed then anyone else's on this board?

In fact, the article (which apparently was written yesterday) states that Mayfield should be off the Jets draft board; yet it's already been confirmed that not only are they going to his pro-day, not only are they conducting a private work out of him at OK, but....they've also invited him to FP for a private visit.

That article is just asinine.  Just because it's on some bogus website doesn't make it any more credible or less stupid.
