Idzik inherited cap Hell and left behind $60 million (I think it was) which Macc promptly squandered. Here we are 3 years later either equal or worse off plus we have passed on multiple franchise QBs. He cleaned up the trash roster, so we could restock with reasonably priced players - to build the right way, then ridiculous angry jets fans and stupid people got rid of him before he could restock the shelves and then let even more stupid people restock the shelves with more overpriced vets and washed up bums that should not even been playing in the NFL. Sure, Idzik had problems and I don't remember any Draft picks that really went off for us, but the man cleaned up the roster and was fired before being able to reap the rewards of his work, i wonder what FA players were signed that year. I bet they would have been much better than what we got. Also i don't fault him specifically with bad draft picks, hell we been bad at it forever. We are about to screw up another draft. He wasn't the best but he did the job he was supposed to do. I never understood all the hate for the man known as Idzik. Look bowles and big mac seem like garbage but not any better than him to me.
