Ok Jets fans..signing off with this: straight from a high ranking official from another NFL team: ”The Jets may be the most improved team in the NFL” after the free agency moves they’ve already made.. Same person told me "Draft day will fall right into the Jets lap"

That's like saying a carpet looks much improved after you clean off 2 of the 5 piles of dog crap on it.

Ok German citizens..signing off with this: straight from a high ranking official from the Naval Air Station: ”The Hindenberg is going to change the way people travel” after the decisions made to use hydrogen primarily.. Same person told me "The flight to New Jersey will be spectacular"

Ok my english readers...signing off with this: straight from a high ranking official from the White Star Line: ”The Titanic is going to blow your mind” after the decisions made to increase comfort and luxury.. Same person told me "It's an unsinkable ship, so there was less space needed for lifeboats, leaving more room for activities.  Great decision!"

LOL just add Greg Buttle, Don LaGreca, and CMART to this and you have the total green cool aid express right there!

Technically, our starting QBs were Petty and Hack.  So adding ANYONE would have been the greatest level of improvement possible.  No other team could hope to approach that.  Even MIN, with zero QBs on the roster, and adding Cousins, did not improve the position as much as we did.

How? What new talent did they add? They brought back McCown and a hobbled QB that nobody knows if he can even play, a mediocre RB that is no different than what they already had if not a down grade from Powell and another overrated overpaid CB and they have a wash with Williamson instead of Davis.

So this guy is claiming that addition of Trumaine Johnson, makes the Jets the most improved team in the league?

They did nothing for this horrible Offense. Helping the defense again. Im sure Bowles is excited for his D. At some point someone will explain to him that to win you need to score points. Maybe he will buy a "NFL Offense for Dummies" Book.

Jets moves (outside of mccown) are fine in a vacuum. The team cb situation is helped by johnson. Bridgewater at 5 million is a good backup value option. Williamson looks like a promising ilb. Etc. they help areas where we need to improve the talent level.

The fundamental problem still remains that the Jets don't know how to build a roster or team with a coherent plan. They have only shown a willingness to invest money and picks heavily into the secondary and for whatever reason ilb.

If this means we STOP using high draft picks at least in this upcoming draft on corners, safeties, and ilbs, i'd be pretty happy. Please for the love of god get a qb. Get some OL help. Get a pass rusher with these draft picks. Get rb and wr depth.

I don't care about the BS hyperbole I'm curious how Josh Allen or Darnold falls into the Jets laps?

Or does this mean another CB?

Well to be fair the roster was so bad that even mediocre players would be a big improvement.  But all in all Mac has done a decent job thus far considering what he had to attract free agents.

What we had to attract FAs with was accumulated by Mac. Making this a half decent roster (how much different are we from last year thus far?) doesn’t mean Mac has done a decent job.

The sky isn't falling. It's been two days since legal tampering day, and the Jets upgraded the running game and QB. Not exactly nothing.

Do you want Macc to ignore defense just because we need a lot of help at offense?

Not to nitpick, but most here would not consider a 39-year old Josh McCown an upgrade over a 38-year old Josh McCown.

Watched NFL total Access & Jeremiah did his mock. He had Darnold, Giants take Nelson, Colts trade out to Bills who take Allen (Big strong arm for Buffalo wind & Winters), Browns take   Barkley out 4 (Holy Sh*t what a draft!), Broncos have Chubb fall in their lap & lo & behold our NY Jets are picking between Rosen & Mayfield.

This draft could shape up like this. Says Gettleman has always been about beefing up the trenches & we all know the Giants Oline was DREADFUL & they missed out on Norwell!

You do realize that Wischusen is a total moron, right?  I mean have you ever listened to his broadcasts?  He roots more for the opposing team than the Jets!

Considering that the Jets desperately need any guy they end up with, except Minkah, this goes without saying.

I'd take Mayfield.

i don't see the giants taking a guard at 2.  they would trade out or take rosen or barkley before nelson.

the broncos could take nelson or minkah
