Paradis
Macc you swashbuckling bastard, if you're going to do me wrong on so many other levels, help right this wrong from so many years ago. Mark who? Craaaaabby GET ME MY PLAYMAKER - GET ME THE RED RAIDER As if this team doesn't need a Z-extraordinaire. It's science. With Enunwa an uncertainty, and Anderson mining for chromosomes - we need playmakers at WR.

FidelioJet
He would be the best receiver on the team - not great, but certainly an upgrade - it's like some of you guys don't want anybody.

K Clue
Don't really like him as a player, but he's a solid receiver. He just let's his anger get in the way too much. Also, I wouldn't be as against this signing if the Jets were able to get him cheap. If they can't get him cheap, he's not worth it then.
Viermoo
Signing Crabtree would go against what we’ve been doing this offseason. He’s on the backside of his career. Stay young. It’s not like we’re winning anything in the next two years which is when we’d need a quality receiver to get us over the hump. I’d pass.
Jets Voice of Reason
Guy is entering his tenth season, usually those guys want to go to winning teams not get mired in a rebuild.

pointman
Yeah, Crabtree would be good practice fodder for the Honey Badger to destroy. Sign him up to a future contract.

bealeb319
Yea we must have a player who is past his prime and was never great...the guy is too old and the only reason to pick up old players even if they were good which Crabtree is not is if you were making a run for the playoffs...we have no offense and still have holes on the defensive side we aren't making that playoff push this yearSent from my [device_name] using http://JetNation.com mobile app

I like Crabtree, but he is old and did well w/teams doubling Amari Cooper every game and Derek carr throwing to him. I think Kearse fits the mentor role. Sonny Werblin
The Ravens will sign Crabtree because he reminds them of Anquon Boldin -- the only WR who was capable of making Joe Flacco look like a franchise QB.

varjet
I have the same thought for not signing ASJ: What player in their right mind who makes a living catching a football is going to sign with the Jets? If their stats are bad for 1-2 years, then that decreases their future value. And even if they would sign with the Jets, who is going to do that FOR LESS MONEY than for a team that actually currently has a functional QB. ASJ last season at the beginning because he was off the tape. As opponents figured him out, he was shut down. The Jets made him a fair offer, and now hopefully he has a good experience somewhere else. He was not the right player at the right time for this team. At TE the Jets have Leggett, Sterling and sort of Enunwa. The Jets spent their 3 and 4th round picks on WRs last year. They have Kearse. They have Anderson for a year. They hopefully have Enunwa. They could have Devin Smith. They have plenty of people to catch the football. They should spend money on people who can protect and rush the passer. JetFaninMI
All things being equal l would rather have Pryor. A one year prove it deal for him at a reasonable price would be okay with me. If not I'm okay with it to.
