Wish it was longer than 1 year ... but it will be good for this year. And further points to us taking a QB in rnd 1 ... no Minka.

So the worst we can do is take the RB or Gaurd ... the best we can do it take one of the top 3 QBs.

Nooooooooooo my Minka dreams have been compromised.

Tom, this is a perfect mentor-bridge contract that allows Claiborne to teach Minkah things as we develop him to play out of position.

Having a player that can teach things and stuff will only serve to propel us into year 5 of our real rebuild. This allows our coach, whose specialty is DBs, to focus on running out the clock in the first half, down by 20 with 2:00 min and all 3 timeouts.

Too bad Sheldon isn't here to play linebacker and really drive these points home.  And wilk could have added his personal touches as well.

Top 5 in the NFL

Draft all offense.

I've thought that before and most of the time our defense is mediocre (and worse in crunch time).  But now we should have no unit on defense that is a trainwreck in need of being addressed immediately.  This is definitely the year to go offense-heavy in the draft.

Like a player-coach, if you will, who occupies all the snaps while the younger player watches. Not dissimilar to how robins teach their young to feed.
