Hard to follow here, I know. Without proper guidance of knowing the plan, it is difficult to judge it either positively or negatively.

Do you hand over three year's worth of first round picks a la RG3 for Josh Rosen? And I don't know that the top two picks are available even that price. I guess we'll see, but if they're not traded and QBs go 1-2 I'd think it's safe to assume that they weren't available for trade. It's very possible that Mac got as high as he could. I think he did get as high as he could. Cleveland isn't trading out of 1 and the giants probably haven't made up their minds yet. If the giants trade out though it will be during the draft when they can extort the bills' 2019 #1 pick out of them.

If you believe that Josh Rosen will become a top tier QB, absolutely. Would you trade Leonard Williams, Darron Lee, and Jamal Adams for Wentz, Goff, etc? I would. And perhaps they weren't available, and perhaps Macc did the absolute best possible. That still doesn't make the move flawless. That's all I'm arguing. I don't understand why this is hard. Unless the plan is, I don't care which of the 3 I get, which is tough to swallow.
