Dcat
Anyone think the 33 year old Lewis might be a good bridge to have while the Jets see whether Legget is any good? Lewis is a terrific blocker and our handicapped OL can use all the help it can get. Lewis can and does catch when needed as well. I would imagine his cost is low. Give him a 1 or 2 yr deal and hope we can get Gesicki in rd 3 (highly unlikely) or a good prospect in a later round.
JoJoTownsell1
He had about as many receiving yards as ASJ in half the receptions and is a very good blocked. If the staff likes our young TEs than Lewis would be a solid 1 year signing. Nothing more.
KRL
Too old, stay with Leggett, Tomlinson and Sterling. If we want another TE wait until the draft
Villain The Foe
No. Lets just play Jordan Leggett and see what happens. Im getting tired of putting bridge/journey men players in front of these young players. I want to see what we got. You learn on the field.
Prestige Worldwide
I agree with you, I have always thought he was a good player, nothing special, but a solid contributor, he would be a good 1 year signing Edit Changed my mind, wanna see the young guys
BrickTamland
Yes sign. Helpful for a rook to have a safety valve. Id say no if we had more picks. I like hayden hurst.

Untouchable
I guess I’m in the minority, but I really like Eric Tomlinson. Was damn good as an in-line blocker and caught everything thrown his way in limited opportunities. I think if you roll with him as the starter, he could easily equal if not surpass ASJ’s production last year.

Apparently the Jets do also as I have yet to see them bring in a TE.

His name is Marcedes, not that it's much better. It's like the misspelled Mercedes. Regarding whether he's a man, I'm not sure what gender he identifies with. Even Hackenberg, while maybe still crap, would likely be further along if he simply played.

It is the one reason I was okay with Forte, I hoped he would be a good safety valve for our young QB(s), not a guy comparing AARP cards with Fitzpatrick and McCown.
