Second viewing on HBO max

the plot holes got sillier, the final battle got badasser 

I noticed a few more details like a kong species skull in hollow earth 

the little girl steals every scene 

very strong scores on rotten tomatoes 

I read one review that said “if you turn off the logic part of your brain to ignore the plot it’s a fun movie”.   Um dude. It’s giant creatures fighting loololol

Finally just watched it tonight after completing my Godzilla movie marathon with KoTM last night night.

Liked it. Didn't love it. Will certainly watch again.

Fights were pretty awesome. Visually stunning. 'Bout the only things it had going for it.

What I'm most excited about is that critics and audiences alike seem to really like it. Maybe, just maybe, the Monsterverse isn't dead after all. I'd love for them to be able to do one more Destroy All Monsters style movie while bringing back more Toho monsters.
