WC playoff game or Snoopy Bowl win or guaranteed first AFL SB win as 18 point dogs that completely changed history.

nyjunc
They should remove SB III and the 19687 AFL title game. Those are the 2 biggest wins in franchise history and it's not debatable.
rangerous
maybe this needs to be by decade. monday night miracle or the patsie playoff win should be up there for the 2000's.

Great choice as was that shutout smashing we game Indy in the playoffs but nothing compares to SBIII overall.
nyjunc
now let's look at the bracket: 1st rd: top left of bracket: SB III over 2002 week 1- no explanation needed 2001 week 17 at Oak over 2009 week 17 vs. Cincy. both got us into the playoffs and while we had a better run in 2009 the 2001 game was an incredible game. I believe it was our first ever win ion Oakland and it came w/ the playoffs on the line as Hall nailed a 54 yd FG or so for the win. If you see the clip watch the great job holding that Tom Tupa did. 2004 WC game at SD over the Vinny sneak game. Vinny sneak game is more famous b/c of the call but winning on the road at SD in the playoffs was bigger. 2010 WC over Indy over 2008 win at ten- 2008 at ten was the end of the good times that season, I can't put a 2008 game ahead of a playoff win. bottom left of bracket: 1998 at Miami over 2011 week 1. 1998 at Miami clinched our first playoff berth in 7 seasons and set up a div title clinching game the next week. Miami was really good that year and didn't lose at home all season except for that game. incredible atmosphere on a Sunday Night. 1991 final week over 1998 div rd win. this was a tough one, the '98 team was obviously a great one in jets history and this was a div rd home win(our only home div rd game in history) but the way we won at Miami in what was essentially a playoff game to get to the playoffs pushes this one past '98. 2002 week 17 over 1982 1st rd of playoffs(the Jets website cannot even label it correctly. 19892 was the year of the strike where they played 9 reg season games and 8 teams from each conf made it and all started in rd 1. there was no wild card that year). This was incredibly tough, 2 of the absolute best games in jets history but the 2002 game was the best home game I have ever attended and it resulted in only our 2nd ever AFC east title so it moves on. 1986 vs. Miami over 1997 at Seattle. 2 great games but the '86 game is a legendary one and it easily beats Parcells' first game. top right of bracket: Mon Night miracle over the great comeback vs. Houston 2010. 2 great but very different comebacks. I won't have the MNM lasting long as it came in a season we choked away but it gets the nod here. 1998 at Buf over 2009 div rd at SD. It's crazy to rate a reg season game over a div rd win but this win gave us our first ever AFC East title and led to us having a home div rd game which also led to an AFC championship game app. after all the years of losing to watch them win that division is one of my all time favorite Jets memories. 1982 vs. Gb over 1972 at Bal. The Bal game was a great shootout btw 2 HOFers but GB '81 got us back to the playoffs for the 1st time since the 1969 season. 1982 at LA 2nd rd playoffs over 1992 at Buf(Dennis Byrd tribute game). dennis was one of my all time favorites and that win at Buffalo was special but the 1992 season was our worst in history and I don't like to think of it in any way.(interestingly they did label the Raider game correctly saying SB tournament 2nd rd) Bottom right of bracket: 2010 at NE div rd over 1985 vs. TB. No contest 2002 at SD over 2003 vs. Pitt. Not sure how the Pitt game made it, I get it was a snow bowl which was fun but that was a 6-10 season. the 2002 win at SD was part of the great season comeback that led to a div title. 2002 WC vs. Indy over 2000 at TB. The TB win was fun w/ another great late comeback but demolishing Peyton and Indy was much more fun. 1968 AFL title game over 2015 vs. NE. Not sure how the 2015 game even qualifies w/ what we did the next week, I am even more perplexed people voted this one over the only game in history that got us to a SB. this one isn't close. Sweet 16: SB III over 2001 week 17 2010 WC at Indy over 2004 WC at SD. both were thrilling wins but 2010 led to the greatest win in Jets history outside of the 1968 season. 1998 at Miami over 1991 at Miami. This was close but 1998 is special to me. 2002 week 17 over GB over 51-45 shootout in 1986. Greatest home game I ever attended. 1998 at Buf over Mon Night miracle. I always go 1998 over 2000 1982 at LA over 1981 week 16 vs. GB. 82 got us to AFC championship 2010 div rd at NE over 2002 at SD 1968 AFL title game over 2002 WC game Elite 8: SB III over 2010 WC 2002 week 17 over 1998 at Miami 1998 at Buf over 1982 2nd rd at LA 1968 title game over 2010 div rd(not sure why they were in same bracket) Final 4: SB III over 2002 week 17 1968 title game over 1998 at Buf championship": SB III over 1968 AFL title game
#27TheDominator
Honorable Mention - Yale Bowl. I was too small to really remember, but that is probably my Dad's favorite. I think he went there instead of Woodstock, but he certainly enjoyed chanting "Goodbye Allie!" He said that even after the Jets won the Super Bowl Giants fans thought they were superior because they were in the NFL. Dad's expert analysis: "They sucked!" #1 Preseason Game for sure. Better than the Snoopy Bowl!
