Bis shout out to you guys for running this draft. I know it's a pain in the ass, so props for making it run so smooth.

@SenorGato you made your opinion known. But you aren't in this mock draft. I don't see your name listed next to a team. So you should just get out of this thread, I just read through the entire discus

Making a draft maneuver so awful that it legitimately drives a person insane is the stuff of Idzik’s and Tannenbaum’s dreams. Well played, @Dcat

As the final round winds down, and the final products are in focus - I still think there's more weaker drafts that not. I think we've all had our noses buried in the QB story, and not given the other positions much due.

Bills are the running away winner to me (if you exclude the cardinals of course, nooge) @New York Mick with @Beerfish and @King P having strong drafts as well... I probably dislike the @NYJetsVets91 the most given what CLE came into the draft with... need to watch more of those guys tho to be fair.

This is an extremely Ravens-like draft. Really well done imo.

Thanks.  I'm not sure how good it is, but I got some guys I like.  I would have liked to get a TE.  Once I missed on the top names, for some reason I settled on Marcus Baugh from Ohio State.  I see him as kind of a crappy choice that will hang around in the NFL. Some of the profiles claimed his tape was better than his stats, though I think every profile included "gawky."  I liked Aikins as a move prospect, but he is 26 and sub-240.  I kind of get hung up on the Seahawks wingspan thing, so I really like Gesicki, but he went real early.  Cantrell doesn't have the wingspan, but he has that Texas Tech production and a guy that size with top short shuttle numbers should at least be able to produce out of the slot.

The Ravens have to pay Flacco for another couple of years, so they can get a project QB IMO.  I wanted a big guy with a big arm.  I didn't like Benkert's motion when I saw him.  Lee has atrocious stats, but was in kind of a tough situation. I think mid-7th is where you draft your 57% high INT project.  Litton was probably a better choice, but he was gone anyway.  I picked through them by watching and using strictly subjective - I'd rather watch this delivery than that one.

I also completely missed out on the CB prospects.  Oh well.  Usually I like picking late round CBs and EDGE guys the most.  FWIW, off the top of my head, I think Chark, Aruna, and Noteboom went pretty late.  Senat was on my list too. Go Seahawks!

I like the browns first 4 picks a lot.  Barkley was sniped right ahead of pick 4, so I think the combo of McGlichey and Guice filled those positions nicely and they need that Tackle since Joe Thomas retired.

@JiF

@Dcat @Lith - thank you dudes for doing this.  This was probably the smoothest we've ever operated.

This is a straight boom or bust draft for the Jags.  I'm confident Brown will be a long time LT in the NFL.  Huge for the Jags because they need to be able to more some money around next year to resign players.  Brown gives them the opportunity to move Cam Robinson to RT and have 2 stud bookends for the next 3-4 years on rookie salaries.

I think Harrison Phillips is an absolute steal at 61 overall and he'll fit on that Dline well.  Again, another player who could potentially create some flexibility when next year they're going to be looking at a massive cap hit from Dareus, Campbell and Jackson.  I'm not saying he's any of those guys but if they see enough out of him, it could make losing one of them a little easier to handle.

Rudolph in the back of the 3rd I think is great pick for them push Bortles.  I know the scouting community is across the board on him but I think he can run Marone's offense perfectly.  Interestingly enough, he kind of reminds of a better Kyle Orton, who Marone got to run his offense really well in Buffalo.  To nab Rudolph in the back of the 3rd would be great for a team that isnt 100% sold on the Qb that led to the AFCC game last year.

Armstrong, Akins, Wims, Wade - I think all have chances at being solid back ups in the NFL.  Akins could be something too.  I read somewhere that 50% of his catches for UCF came 20+ yards down field.  Wims is similar in that regard too.  Which I think really works well with Marone's power running game who can push back LB'ers and Safeties for Fournette.  Who knows with Armstrong but I thought it was good value for a potential SPR.

Wade is a small school guy so I'm not surprised he fell to the 7th round.  I was targeting him for the Jags for a while.  He played High School ball with Jalen Ramsey, so he has a natural mentor on the team.  That said, I dont see him lasting till the 7th round.  He can play.

Interesting draft for them - very PIT-like... Kerryon makes sense there. Would be a great insurance card on Bell.

Ito Smith or whatever his name is, is a perfect Sean Payton role-playing RB (based on all the film I’ve broken down... or the tiny snippet I read before green lighting him as my 7th rounder, lol)

Cardinals have put a bow on their draft with the lean machine from SFA. Tough decision, there was two playmakers on Offensive that never got picked, which i have hard time seeing go UD...

 J. CHUNN from Troy (just look at his tape vs LSU) and THOMAS OWENS, WR from Florida Int'l... wasn't a need for ARZ, but that's tough to pass on.

Well we are 2 picks away from completing the JetNation 2018 Mock Draft.  And I am holding the envelope with the last pick for Atlanta from @Sarge4Tide, a player whose name and college should never be considered irrelevant... except, perhaps, to the NFL.

@Matt39, you are OTC for pick 255.  Please pick for Tampa before 4 PM.

Just read that Kentavius Street tore his ACL working out for Giants.  Two days before I picked him.  And Nick Nelson tore his meniscus a day or two after I picked him.  If you are a draft prospect, you don't want me to pick you.

I also read where street is suing the NFL/Giants and whoever for the private workout ruining his chance for draft status.  I think all these private workouts are overkill and will be going away in years to come.
