How many concussions is too many? Giants general manager Dave Gettleman will need to make that decision when evaluating top quarterback prospect Josh Rosen.

Rosen is widely considered the most NFL-ready quarterback prospect in this draft class, but the UCLA product has some red flags. None may be bigger than the two concussions he suffered during the 2017 season.

Rosen missed a game in November due to a concussion and he was held out of UCLA's bowl game in December after suffering another concussion in the regular season finale.

Oklahoma football: Baker Mayfield goes through concussion protocols again

By Jason Kersey | January 2, 2016

NORMAN — OU quarterback Baker Mayfield, who suffered an apparent head injury while making a tackle on Clemson linebacker Ben Boulware, returned to Norman on Friday and went through concussion protocols, according to a source close to the program.

For Mayfield, it’s the second time he has gone through such protocols in the last month and a half. The Sooner quarterback suffered a concussion during OU’s win over TCU on Nov. 21 and missed the second half of that game.

To be fair, if you're going to post that, you have to post the article about the time when Josh Allen mysteriously shrank 4 3/8" overnight and when Josh Rosen's arm fell off.

Concussions can be chronic or they can be nothing at all.

Yes, he has had two in his career.

with that said..that doesn’t exactly give you a reason to say it’s chronic yet. His career in the Pros hasn’t even started yet..and he could wind up not having injury problems much at all and we will look like fools for passing on him and if he does have injury problems and we take him, we will look like fool too...so just take him and do what you can to ensure he is protected. Players can wind up hurt for a lot of different reasons. It is what it is.

As far as the political stand point 1.) CEO Chris Johnson encourages his players to speak out. 2.) Rosen has been told consistently that he will have to change his tone a little in the Pros and I’m sure he is taking that serious enough to calm all of that down...he isn’t a stupid guy. He knows what warnings and the repercussions of disobeying the smart advice people give him will do.
