What a rookie year he had.  He was on his way to being one of the best qbs in the league until he blew his knee out.

He cant play anymore now.  The ravens franchise has really taken a few steps back lately.  They dont know what they are doing anymore.

As long as our resident posters can judge an NFL a player better, I’m good.

RG3 went 2nd overall and that was because he shared a draft with Andrew Luck.

Lamar Jackson is 10 x the player, but not as articulate. RG3 dreams of being able to the things Jackson can do at QB

Like play wide receiver :-)

That dude revolutionized the game... until the opposing coaches caught up.

More like RG3 stopped doing what he was actually good at (pistol formation, read option) and tried to be a drop back qb.  Once he did that it was over.

Jackson is a more mature RG3.  For Jackson to be successful in the nfl the offense he plays in will have to be very read option heavy

The pistol read option was revolutionary, until it wasn't.   Alfred Morris, a plodding 6th rounder, broke the team record with 1,613 rushing yards and 13 TDs beating out guys like Clinton Portis and John Riggins and one of my personal favorite all time RB's -Larry Brown.

Washington lead the league in rushing but it was all scheme.  Defensive ends couldn't defend the play even though they weren't being blocked but the one thing NFL coaches are good at, is watching film and taking away what you do best.  They started taking away the hand off and getting shots at the QB and there was no counter move available with RG III.  He is what he is.

Meanwhile, Colin Kaepernick is 100000x the player and remains unsigned.

They both suck balls, its hard to say someone who sucks balls is 100000x another player who sucks balls. Ball suckers all suck, hence they are ball suckers. Measuring one ball sucker against another ball sucker is a futile exercise.

Disagree.  One sucks balls and shouldnt be the in league because he's not a good Football player.  The other would be a great back up that could fill in and start for a stretch and maybe even take another team to the Super Bowl like he's done before.

Maybe, but no one wants that kind of sh*tstorm out of a backup QB and I don’t blame them.

Kaep chose some nutty, race baiting chick over continuing a multi-million dollar career in the NFL.

He made his bed, now he can lie in it.
