Lot K Tailgaters
Has anyone heard of a date when the schedule will be released? It should be within the next two weeks.
faba
A year ago the NFL released the schedule on Thursday, April 20. It was one full week before the draft. Both NFL Network and ESPN make a prime-time show out of the event. The sports world is in a bit of a down swing with the NCAA tournament wrapped up and neither the NBA or NHL into the playoffs yet. With the draft being on April 26, that would put the schedule release sometime between April 17-24. April 19 would be the spot if the league followed the same plan as 2017. The NFL will have a formal announcement and it will be promoted across all sports networks.
kevinc855
it will be the Thursday before the draft traditionally so guessing April 19th. Hoping for a home game to kick off
Sarge4Tide
Jacksonville and Tennessee are both driving distance for me. Hope one or the other is a Sunday noon / 100 game - but would be perfect
Lith
Hoping Chicago is early in the season. I hate Soldier Field, but it is tolerable in Sept or Oct. And is it too much to ask that we get Jacksonville on the same weekend Georgia-Florida?
JetFaninMI
They are coming to Detroit and I am going to that game. I just hope it will be early in the season so it might mean something. Maybe the later the better because Baker maybe starting by then.?
nyjunc
The last time we made the playoffs we faced the NFC North w/ Chicago and Detroit on the road and GB and Minnesota at home. I hope we can do the same in 2018. we usually have good seasons when facing the NFC North/Central. 2014 we stunk 2010 AFC Championship game 2006 wild card 2002 AFC east title 2000 9-7(missed POs on last week of the season) 1997 9-7(missed POs on last week of the season) 1994 6-10 1991 wild card 1988(we didn't face that division b/c we finished in last in 1987) 1985 wild card 1982 AFC Championship Game of the 10 seasons since 1982 that we have faced the NFC North/Central we have had just 2 losing seasons and 6 postseason apps record against NFC Central/North teams 1982-2014 vs. Chicago 2-7. 2 wins came in 1997 at Chi and 2000 at home. all time we are 2-9 against the Bears, 2-4 at Chicago(2-3 at Soldier Field) vs. Detroit 5-6, had 4 game losing streak from 1991-2000 but are 5-2 otherwise including 3 of the last 4. all time 6-7 against the Lions, 4-4 at Detroit, 2-0 at Ford Field vs. Green Bay 6-3. we have lost 2 straight, we are 0-2 against Rodgers but dominated the series otherwise. all time 8-4. 4-1 at home against them, 0-1 at MetLife vs. Minnesota 6-1 but lost the last game when teddy killed us. all time 8-2, 5-0 at home, 1-0 at MetLife Tampa Bay isn't in the division anymore we did play them 7 times when they were in the NFC Central and were 6-1 against them. total against NFC North/Central teams 1982-2014: 25-18 overall against NFC North/Central teams: 30-23 overall against current members of NFC North: 24-

JetFaninMI
Could be. Thanksgiving is usually a divisional or rivalry game though. I'm hoping it's the Lions home opener. Either way I'm going so it will be good to see the Jets in person again.
