C Mart
Dennis Waszak Jr. (@DWAZ73) 4/6/18, 3:50 PM #Jets announce they have re-signed OL Dakota Dozier. Also, OL Brent Qvale signed his RFA tender. pic.twitter.com/vLVeBFXQQT The Jets continued to bolster their depth along the offensive line with the re-signing of Dakota Dozier. The 6'4", 313-pound Dozier, a fourth-round selection of the Green & White in the 2014 draft, set career highs last season with 14 games played and three starts. Towards the end of the 2017 campaign, head coach Todd Bowles told reporters that Dozier was one of the most improved players on the roster. Entering his fifth season, Dozier has appeared in 32 games and made five starts. He is another player with position flexibility that can suit up at guard as well as center. Tony MaC
THANK GOD. I thought we were about to enter an era without the BULL-DOZIER. What a scary thought! So, he, Quincy and Winters are the last of the Idzik draft classes to still be on the team right?
jetstream23
Our offensive line can be summarized in one phrase...."Quantity over quality" Do we have more backup caliber linemen than any team in the league?
Tinstar
This is a smart move by the Jets as this kid was beginning to hit his stride . The Jets in past years have released guys like this in Slauson and Goodwin only to watch them go on and have solid careers .

Still pissed that Mike T. choose Vlad Ducasse over Matt Slauson simply because Ducasse was a 2nd round pick. I know it's unrealistic but part of me still holds out a tiny bit of hope that draftees like Dozier, Harrison and Shell could all be adequate starters or very solid backups for this team.
