What to say here.

 

Rosen has the best tape there's no question about it. But injury concerns, annoying face concerns etc. Josh Allen appears to have eaten this dude's lunch from a draft perspective. Coaches don't want the guy who asks why. They want someone who goes into the breach and doesn't question why. But Rosen should go 1 overall based purely on tape. 

other second guesses: 

the Giants could trade down for McGlinchey and give AZ sam Darnold at 2. AZ loves Darnold. 

Jaire Alexander and Harold Landry could go 10 slots higher. Denzel Ward could go 5 slots higher. 

The Saints could opt for the upside player in Mike Gesicki but they are almost certainly going TE 

There might only be 1 WR in the rd. 

LVE Boise State has private visits with all the teams who pick between 12 and 24

The Pats could go Lauletta in rd 1 but there might actually be 6 qb in rd 1.

Yeah sure why not lotsa logic in this list.

I am of the "anyone but Rosen to the Jets" camp although not exactly enamored with Mayfield either.

This mock really depends heavily on the validity of the "Browns are locked on Allen " reports so if that fails to happen I think the only GM with the ability to survive the few years needed to develop Allen is Elway.

I think DJ Chark will go pretty early, but still expect Moore to go ahead of him.  I guess he is rising lately.  He went 70 in our mock and I regretted not taking him in the 2nd for the Ravens.
