I don’t see Rosen’s floor as a potential HOFer and 2x SB champ.

More like a less physically talented Jay Cutler who could potentially retire within 3-4 years time.

Rankings:

1. Darnold

2. Rosen

3. Allen

4. Mayfield

5. Rudolph

I mean Eli 99% of his career. his post season success is undeniable but he benefited from luck and circumstance.

For all the talk about all the money the Rosen family has, it is not NFL QB wealthy.  Not even close.

Rosen’s fifth year in the league he is going to make close to $20M.  His sixth year and beyond is going to close to $30M. Annually.

No one is voluntarily retiring a year away from setting up at least the next 5 generations of his family.  After a 12 year career,  o one in his family tree will HAVE to work ever again.

Darnold

rosen

mayfield

allen

in some ways Rosen is the best but if both were on the clock I’d bank on Darnolds personality. I do like Allen but truly understand he’s too risky and would take Mayfield instead. I’ve stuck up for Allen because I believe he’s taking some unjust heat but at the end of the day he’s my 4th. I’m still very worried about mayfield being a system qb but he has less risks than Allen. With that said I think there are less truly great qbs that are short than there are great qbs that threw under 60% completion in college.

As far as I know, Chris Borland’s family wasn’t wealthy at all.

Yet he came in, had a nice rookie campaign, and walked away immediately afterwards.

He wouldn’t have ended up with franchise QB money, but it’s not crazy to think he could’ve been a potential pro-bowl LB landing a contract with $20+ million guaranteed eventually.

Not everyone is wired the same

1. Rosen

2. Mayfield

3. Jackson

4. Rudolph

5. Darnold

6. Allen

7. Lauletta

8. Falk

8 NFL starters

1 HOF

3 Pro-Bowl

I think they will be drafted:

1. Darnold (2)

2. Rosen (3)

3. Mayfield (4)

4. Allen (5)

5. Jackson (8)

6. Rudolph (23)

Yes 6 QBs in the first... Historical draft for qbs.

  •  Rosen    His proccess/throws/footwork his desire to be the greatest etc. His mobility and build/injury is a legit concern but still worth the risk. I have zero personality worries about him. Bust factor 20% Largish hands, good if he ends up here.

  • Mayfield. His mentally process, his arm, his elusiveness, avoiding interceptions, his leadership. He's learning more to stay in the pocket, so injury concerns are less than they were. I am a little concerned about his thin skin. Bust Factor 25% Smallish hands not ideal for the northeast.
  •
  • Darnold,  a playmaker, clutch football player, football junkie. I am concerned about his mental strength in the face of criticism. Turnovers and fumbles don't necessarily dissapear at the next level. He's young, I hope he sits at least a year, he could be exciting to watch. He could be the best of the bunch . Hands are smallish, not ideal for Jersey  winter football. Bust Factor 40%

  • Allen,  Orlovsky has me worried about his ability to react to read coverages. I am not concerned about his accuracy at all, I hope he makes it in the NFL. I hope he spends a year on the bench.
  • Bust Factor 50%. I see his ceiling as Eli Manning His floor ? There is no floor, he is standing on crossbeams.
  • His large hands in Metlife... would be an advantage.

  • Jackson,  He could have the most exciting career, I just don't see him playing much beyond his rookie contract because of injuries - I hope I am wrong. He is electric with the ball in his hands. Bust Factor only 25% but a short career.

Other qbs I am curious about their jourmey at the next level... Mike White, Kyle Lauletta and Kyle Allen

No, I think his floor is a moderately accurate, above average armed idiot.

You think his floor is more akin to a 15 year starter, 4x pro-bowler and 2x SB champ?

If so, oh the lolz.

I didn’t say that. I also didn’t agree with the OP’s scouting report on these guys. I didn’t make it seem like that did I?

i didn’t think so.

Will one day be seen as the most disappointing QB classes in NFL history.

Darnold picked #1 total bust, INT machine has 25+ INTs three years in a row after being rushed to #1 job

Rosen picked #2 injuries early and often, never healthy and retires early, bust

Allen picked #3 never develops beyond potential, never breaks 50% comp rate, bust

Mayfield picked >4, arrested twice in two years, third arrest ends career, bust

Jackson, picked >10, converts to WR after three years as a #3, best year 459 yards rec. 3 TDs

Rudolph, picked late first round, career backup starts only 2 games as a pro

Best QB, Luke Falk, on again off again journeyman backup wins more than loses.

;)

i can honestly say that i have entered analysis paralysis and at this point have no clue who will be a better pro. i do know this...

1. Rosen will be great, if he isnt a giant douche, doesnt get hurt and actually likes football

2. Darnold scares the crap out of me, as any USC QB should...and the more i learn about him the more his mechanics scare me

3. Baker is either the best player in this draft or he is "Irish" Terry Conklin

4. Josh Allen will probably be at least somewhat good with that huge arm

5. Lamar Jackson would probably end up in the HOF if he sits in NE for 2 years behind brady
