3. Jets Baker Mayfield

6. Bills (trade with Colts) Josh Allen

9. Patriots (trade with 49ers) Josh Rosen

11. Dolphins Lamar Jackson

If Rosen lasts till the 9th, Mac should be fired during the draft.

If the Patriots do pick a QB in RD 1 all of the draft guys will retroactively change their #1 rated QB to that guy and the pick will be lauded as the best pick in the draft

If it’s Josh Rosen at 9 they will be right.

For not drafting the QB that is sliding?

For the trade up when Rosen was around for our original pick. Yeah I know hindsight, but that’s also why trading up to the 3rd without knowing who will be there may not be in our best interest.

They wanted to be able to choose from 2 at a minimum, not take what is left.

What you are talking about is going to be debated for a decade.

Was ______ worth trading away ______and ______when ______was there at 6

I like the move. Be bold, take a risk, go get your guy

Agree.   But what's going to decide the debate is, who gets the rings?

You are assuming the colts would not have traded up with someone else. Had the Jets not made the move to 3, the Bills would have jumped us.

So our only hope of getting 1 of the 4, in this scenario, is if Denver decides not to go QB. So best case scenario is we would have had to move to 4 to get our QB. Unless you are sure Denver doesn't go QB. How much less would it have cost us to move to 4 on draft day? Probably the same compensation as us moving to 3 a month in advance.

Hope the Pats don't get Rosen.

Rosen doesn’t seem like a bellicheat guy.. he wants a qb Who is obsessed with football, will do anything to win. Rosen is very talented, but I don’t think he will ever be “ obsessed “ with football. Id worry more about him getting mayfield

Rosen already has a crap attitude and thinks he's smarter then BB so he might not be a good fit there..:)

I really have a hard time imaging Rosen falls to a spot where the Pats can get him... But the Pats getting Rosen would SUCK.

He 199% won’t. Pats have made moves to ensure they get Lauletta. Best QB in the draft they can take without Brady throwing a hissy fit. Well until Brady realize he played for the spiders and wasn’t an actual spider . Spiders scare sissies.

Pats getting Josh Rosen means we are at best 2nd fiddle for a decade again.

My scenario is where Rosen falls to 9th. I doubt that happens, but if he does, the Jets trade would look insanely stupid for the time being.
