I’m all in for Mayfield, Rosen or Allen.  Darnold doesn’t pass the smell test to me.

I couldnt agree more on Darnold.  My personal order is Rosen, Allen, Mayfield, anyone but Darnold.  Darnold looks like a wet noodle when throwing.

My prediction for the top 4.

Browns - Barkley

Bills move up for Rosen (Giants miss on Barkley move back)

Jets - Allen

Browns - Mayfield

Looks badass with the tint on there

Hopefully we wont need to change ours for the next 15 years ?

Thanks!

And I hope we don’t man. I really hope. I think you and me know best if anyone..if Rosen can stay on the field and progress..this guy is going to a top notch QB for a long time. He has it written all over his face.

For real

This guy is the best passer to come in years, and is the least risky guy out there.

I remember reading about him as a recruit a few years back, and telling my Dad "If we're still terrible in a few years, I hope we can get him"

Agreed. He was the top HS prospect and #1 ranked Elite 11 QB in his class. He’s always been filled with potential greatness. Smoothest and most natural release I have ever seen in my life. I mean...he just makes passes that look so effortless when in reality they are difficult as hell to make.

He threw a 21-yard back shoulder pass to Lasley in the Memphis game from one hash mark to the opposite..it was simply indefensible..there was zero chance for the corner to make a play on that pass.

He is something special. He just needs to focus on staying on the field, that is the only thing that truly worries me.

I absolutely LOVE Rosen's accuracy and pocket passing, but he is awful skinny and lacks mobility to avoid big hits while throwing the ball. I see Ken O'Brien written all over him and by year four or five he will be a beaten down shell of the player they drafted. Darnold has the size to take the hits and is far more mobile. He would be my number one choice with Mayfield two and Rosen three.

He needs to add a few pounds but in a WCO where he is getting the ball out fast and linemen are pulling in one solid direction, I’m hoping that if he comes to us, that won’t have a chance to happen very often. Plus he isn’t just a stone statue, he does climb the pocket pretty well.

Darnold is my #1.  I've heard enough scouts praise Mayfield that maybe he is worth being the #2 with Rosen #3.  Then again, I have no idea about Allen.  Some think he's the best QB in the draft.  I give up.  I just want the draft to get here already.  And I still hate that after forcing us to wait several months, they drag the draft out over 3 days.  And the whole 2 days of prime time makes me want to barf.

In my head I'm expecting Mayfield or Rosen. It will take a little adjustment if Darnold or Allen end up here.

But after all the posts and reading for months, all I know is I don't know who the best guy really is, it's a guess. And no one else really knows either.

I just want to hear Mac stand up after the pick is made and say how he thinks the Pick will fit into the team, what is his strengths and weaknesses, and what the entire organization is going to do to make that pick, and the Jets successful going forward.

Any of the four QBs can work, but none of them will work unless there is a coherent plan.

Coherent to whom ?  The Jets have a plan and are executing it but the only people who can’t see it are the fans who always know better .

Just like the plan they had for Hackenburg?

there was no plan for Hack.  He was drafted for coaches who did not want him, or know what to do with him.  That is my point.
